Ah, they changed it to 3 AM PST? I had no clue. Oh well, no longer worth spending my time being excited while staying up Now I'll just look at them in the morning before work

No need to complain guys!
Note everyone, this change is ONLY TEMPORARY and updates should be back to 12 EDT this week.

@BLeighton1982 - We are doing a deploy this week which should fix I believe. I had a memorial service this weekend so I'm behind on email.
I'm thinking everyone should either email or complain on maro's tumblr. spoiler articles at 3 am EST is crap
Or, you know, people could just learn to be patient.
I don't see why it's a big deal that Wizards changed the update time to midnight in their time zone, waiting a few extra hours isn't going to kill anyone.

Again, this is only until the bugs are worked out on the site, and Trick just tweeted not to long ago a fix is coming this week to bring it back to Eastern time.
Why would they do this? It makes it inconvenient for everyone in the entire Western Hemisphere except for the people on the West Coast. Before, everyone could get the spoilers. Now only the people in the Western half of the Americas and in the Eastern Hemisphere can get them on time.

All this should have been done before they put up the site. I do hope they do put up the old product pages and the old decklists for the old precons.
Some people just can't wait for the excitement of previews. Now they would lose 3 hours of sleep because when they do try to sleep, that lingering thought of what might be previewed would cause them to be unable to sleep. Even if it wasn't preview week, the excitement of what is going to be on the Arcana or whatever article might be posted would cause some people to be unable to sleep.

For everyone asking, when the new site got launched it temporarily pushed back the update to 12 am PST. I'm not sure when we'll be back to 9
There will be a few sites that spoil their cards before then, though.

This makes no sense to me, as it's 10:16 PM MDT where I am (or 9:16 PM PDT).

Damn!
Well I guess it makes waiting until the morning better, no way am I staying up that late on a work night
I was not saying what time it was, I was stating what time the previews/articles will appear on the website.
And now my watch begins.
My apologies--that time sounds accurate. (I stayed up until 12:00 AM MDT for the articles once after the mothership makeover. No go.)
