An experienced sealed deck builder obviously works with what his pool provides, going with the grain of the cards he opens. It's hard to go into a prerelease (barring the RTR block ones) with a firm idea of what color/strategy you're going to play; we are for the most part at the mercy of the chaotic tides of cardboard and ink.
With all of that aside, however, what archtype do you think will be dominant at this weekend's M14 prerelease? Do you think the perfect Sliver pool will out-synergy all? Or will the ideal blue-based flying deck win out with evasion and tempo? Basically, if you were to open a glorious series packs for a certain archtype, what kind of deck would you want available to you? I personally see some fun shenanigans waiting around the corner with G/U - big creatures and Zephyr Charge and Plummet seems like the lulz. But if I were to open perfectly I'd want to open some dank mono-white lifegain creatures, topped off with an Archangel of Thune or four.
What deck do you think is going to walk away with the big prize tomorrow?

Perfect Slivers, probably, since that gets the most gas from commons. After that U/W or U/B (or Esper) flyers. And then the nuts "all bombs all the time" deck.

Depends what you open, My strategy is to just separate all of your colors and then evaluate each color in its own vacuum. Pick the 2 colors that are the best then work out your curve.
In a Draft I would say its, Slivers and White/Black fliers.

someone's going to open the sliver nuts(lots of slivers AND rare slivers) and just crush everyone. That's the nuts deck for this prerelease. toss in a door of destinies just for lolz as well.

Yeah I acknowledged that it's entirely up to chance what you end up with, I was inquiring as to what people thought would be the most powerful archtype with the right pulls. Also, what makes you say white/black fliers over one with blue? Blue has sweet flying support this set.

I've been doing the draft simulator and from the times I've managed to force slivers I have to agree. They're just so innately synergistic that a pool with a critical mass of them would basically build itself. Turn one Striking, turn two Manaweft, turn 3 Blur, tap them for up to 3 mana of any color? Maybe next turn Megantic Sliver? Sounds magical to me.
Slivers are the strongest if you get a critical mass of it but be awere of the removal count. Red pretty weak in terms of removal in this set and while green have the second best common removal (Hunt the Weak) it only works if you play a few bomb dudes, which does not happen always when you're going quick sliver plan. Hopefully with so many creatures running around you cna turn your combat tricks in removal.
Another concern is the mana fixing as well. The green pool really needs a couple Lay of the and and Verdant Haven to make Naya Slivers work consistently. I end up going RG Slivers with white splash then a naya build.
From my experience on simulators, the Naya pool, although pretty sweet, is really hard to combe by and when not all elements are present they are worse then other archetypes. My second choice, one that's actually fairly easy to come by, is WU Skies. Blue have a crazy bonkers amount of flyers on common/uncommon and white got couple as well. Those evasive guys shine when you have 2~3 Fortify on your decks which makes you alpha strikes freaking fast. You can try this build with 0~1 fortify but it isn't as nearly as good.
Blightcaster UB can be pretty cool too but you will need 2+ of those and a couple nice UB enchants. You also need some late game bombs or else the strong mid game will serf no end.
If i would say "stay away!" from anything it would be UR Sorcery/Instants. Young Piromancer is a trap in limited, not worth the build around. His like, 80% weaker then Guttersnipe, which was really excelent.
i haven't played yet, saw a couple of matches at my lgs. UB fliers seems pretty good

If I had the choice, I would use blue/white as white has the best flyers for defending to ensure your opponenet can't get through and blue has awesome counters. But I would also go white/red or white green for defending and burning, or defending and stomping respectively.
White overall though will always be a go to color for this set. My dream pool would be to open up with 2 Ajani's chosen, 2-3 voracious wurm, 1 path of bravery/Archangel of thune/primeval bounty/into the wilds, and tons of life gaining cards with splashes of the best blue available.
I had a pretty successful evening at my small shop playing a B/R deck that abused Act of Treason x2 with all the sac outlets of my black creatures. Young Pyromancer's pretty great, especially with things like the Bairn and Altar's Reap.
I heard lots of people were enjoying their Path of Braveries, too, though.

The creatures are so undercosted with many ways to bust through.
