The awesomeness of the box and dividers really can't be overstated. I got one of these as a present for Christmas. My packs pretty much stunk; I've already forgotten what was in em. But, the dividers are very nice, and the box is sturdy.
Previously, I had been using three separate fat pack boxes to move my 9 sleeved EDH decks around. The holiday box fits all 9, and there are exactly enough dividers to separate em all, with room left over for two or three 60-card decks.
I've opened up all the RTR I intend to open, but I may get another one of these just for the box and dividers.

I got a second one for Christmas and pulled an Overgrown Tomb as the only notable rare, but I was thrilled to get more stickers/dividers to use. All in all this product was a huge success for me personally.
It does seem as if an abnormally large percentage of these gift boxes contain an Overgrown Tomb. It could be a mistake on the company/printer's part, but it seems that the rare sheet for the gift box booster run had a different distribution than the display box packs. I don't think this was intentional on Wizards part. The question I have is did this effect the secondary market price of Overgrown Tomb or the other shocklands? That would be a better indicator of whether almost everybody's getting them, or if only a fluke 3% or so are posting about their epic pulls while the majority are getting crap to average draws. Also, is this happening on other MTG message boards, or just here? If no one else is talking about this, it could be an unusually clever viral marketing campaign, which after the failure of the Premium deck series is not unthinkable.

Except not really. Everyone forgets that the majority of these aren't being opened by people on these forums. They're being opened by the casual crowd whose parents scooped these.
I opened my 4th box today, and surprise, another overgrown tomb.
4 boxes, 2 overgrown tomb, my friend also bought one and got another tomb... so in 5 boxes we've got 3 tombs...
If its a "normal" print run i am happy enough to get a crap ton of Overgrown tomb.
For me its also not a surprise, maybe its a distribution thing, that some "areas" got this high density, not sure not sure, but its 100% that we have way too much Overgrown tombs to make this a "random" thing.
Do you guys think that for some reason these packs wouldn't have a typical distribution?
Yes, since the packs are coming off the line in a group of 4, you get different chunks of the printed rare sheet. Now, let's say they weren't just using these packs/sheets for holiday boxes only. If they are also pulling from these packs to put into intros/fatpacks, then it is possible that the holiday packs are being pulled from a certain half of the sheet most every time, or a certain corner, which could lead to ALL THE SHOCKLANDS (and or mythics)
That's why people love fatpacks, you get 4 packs from a spot on the sheet, and 5 from another spot (or sheet), which leads to the duplicate rares you tend to see in fatpacks.
I've seen 2 triple mythic holiday boxes out of the 5 I've seen opened. I've also seen 3Tomb in those 5.
Well in my 3 Gift Boxes (so 12 packs in total) the only thing I got of note was Hallowed Fountain and Temple Garden. The boxes are still awesome (although I wish my bulk cards were a little snugger as they aren't sleeved). I especially like the dividers as I didn't think they'd be anywhere near as sturdy as they are.
Odd man out here... My girlfriend got me one. Not a single shockland. I got 2 bottom of the bin rares and a Loxodon smiter. I also got the mythic hellkite. However used a gift card I got for xmas on more magic cards on some blister packs and an intro pack (To play with friends who are just starting out), and go figure, Tomb and Dsphere in the intro pack, and other goodies in the random packs I got.
I believe my girlfriend's holiday box was Shockless too... And mostly junk again too. Hah.

If your deck is 60 cards then you're playing with the best possible odds. 61? Probably won't alter your odds too much but we all know that 96% pure meth won't cut it next to Heisenberg's 99%.
However, I like the box, and will be using it as my deck box now, and will keep my longboys (1000 ct long boxes) as backup. It won't hold all of the decks I have in the longboys, but it will hold all the ones I consider playworthy.
