The foil promo Dread Mangler had an odd small (impression) line across it like perhaps the printer had puked it out not quite right and had a bit of a 'flat' feel to the card (as apposed to the normal foils out of a booster pack).
I picked two up because I really like the boxes and figure I can use them for the entire block. First box was all dollar rares, but the second had a Temple Garden, Cyclonic Rift, and a foil Dreadbore.
The box, dividers, and labels are all excellent. Definitely worth picking up one just for those.
If you put the dividers in, the box lid doesn't quite close all the way.
Really.
Otherwise it's fine. "Sturdy" cardboard is really quite sturdy.
oh man, you're not kidding. Unless we're the only two people with defective boxes, the team that designed this set screwed up. The lid closes fine with sleeved cards and no dividers, but the dividers are a little too tall. haha. oh well, the lid still slides down, it just doesn't close completely, the way it looks closed after the dividers are removed.
It is a nice box though and I really like the plastic dividers, even if they don't fit perfectly. They have a very satisfying feel and look GREAT. If the dividers were made from cardboard or thin plastic they'd be easy to trim down a few millimeters. But I'm not sure I could cut this plastic without messing one up.
I saw two at Walmart tonight and decided what the hell, might as well get one. (I won't brag about my pulls but I chose the correct box.) Someone earlier said it looked like their Walmart priced them the same as the fat packs. The way they were stacked on the shelf here (same shelf as fat packs, right above a fat pack price sticker) it did look like they were $39.99, but it scanned at $19.98.

My box was slightly pushed in, so the separators dont work well unfortunately. Hopefully I can flatten that out and make it work, but if not it's not a huge deal.
Speaking of a deal, this thing is boss. $4 for the box alone is a steal - it can hold 12 single-sleeved EDH decks - 4 per row fits perfectly. I'm currently using my box to hold Horde decks/Planechase/tokens/dice, as I already have my decks in boxes. The 4 packs yielded Angel of Serenity, Lotleth Troll, Corpsejack Menace (foil), plus 2 other junk rares and 2 other foils (Golgari Guildgate, Judge's Familiar). I'm definitely buying another one, and I might even buy 2 more since RtR has been very kind to me with pulls (still don't own a shockland though)...
Here's hoping I can trade that Angel and an Armada Wurm or two towards a FtV: Realms...
Picked one up at Wal-Mart yesterday. Love the box. Will fit my needs very well. I plan on buying a few more for the older cards of my collection that I don't mess with much. The size fits my spacing needs quite well. I like the dividers. Don't think I'll make much use out of the stickers though.
"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it." Frederic Bastiat
Picked up my second after work, Slaughter Games, Overgrown Tomb x2 (one is creased, as was the whole pack, but meh) and an Isperia, Supreme Judge... and the box isn't pushed in on the top this time - it closes perfectly with the separators.
The other one I left overnight flattened with books also closes correctly now, in case anyone wants to flatten theirs.
Still, tempted to test my luck and go for another (would need the 3rd box anyway)
I also play Weiss Schwarz, Chaos, Vanguard and Wixoss.

i swear i really did not imagine an enthusiasm like this for this box. I mean, it's 4 boosters, you can buy them everywhere else. It kinda seems like ppl incounsciounsly hope that these boosters are better than other ones :s
Perhaps statistically that is bearing out which is pushing the sales, even so you could be the ONE to get the bad egg, heh.

I don't know that these boxes have insanely good odds. I think it's more a case of the people who get great pulls posting to brag about it while the people who get bad/mediocre pulls aren't bothering to post for obvious reasons. And you always have to factor in that some people may just be blatantly lying about pulling Jace, foil Jace, Angel and foil Fountain out of their four packs.
I'm going to try to pick up one. I really wish they had more dividers. Six isn't anywhere near enough for the box size. Luckily I have a bunch of random dividers from Rav/core sets that I can use. The hard part will be deciding what to put in the box.
I think they are miserable value so I'm not getting one, but a friend opened a foil Angel of Serenity, Blood Crypt and two pieces of jank.
I'm a bit surprised at interest in them, the box isn't even space efficient, but perhaps casual players like the flatter boxes.
Perhap not space-efficient, but bookshelf-worthy. For folks that open 2-3 booster boxes of a given set and enjoy having decorative MtG items, this is a perfect solution for keeping a given set. I've used plastic stackable boxes up to now--which I have to shove in a closet because they look like crap on nice oak bookshelves. These, however, like fat pack boxes, can be both decorative an utilitarian. Such things matter to enough folks that WotC is given them a spin. I personally hope that this becomes another set standard like the fat packs.
I'm really interested in the box/labels. But I'm afraid I'll need many of them, so I hope it becomes a thing so I can slowly get them to store cards instead of Fat Pack boxes.

I just want people who redraft to admit this:
"I can't draft objectively unless I am able to guarantee that I receive at least 3 rares. I am also better than most average/new players so I want to make sure that I get the best rares and they end up with worse ones. I care more about the monetary value of cards than actually playing the game for decent prizes."
Picked this one up yesterday, since I had nowhere to keep my INN and RTR cards in. I wish it had more dividers, especially since it's a Ravnica release: I have to put some of the guilds together because there is no way to divide them. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned already, but the basic lands in the land pack are printed on a different cardboard, and I like it.

Sorry for bragging - my luck is weird with things like this - I usually get (really) good pulls from Fat Packs, but horrible pulls from actual boxes and/or individual packs, which is why I stick to Fat Packs. I also never take the front-most product from the shelf, but with these I did, so it just goes to show you superstition ain't the way.
I think there should have been double the number of dividers. I'm not complaining, but you figure people are either going to put decks or collections in here, and splitting that 6 ways is nowhere near enough (maybe for recent sets it is). 4 EDH decks fit per row, that's 400 sleeved cards, so 6 60-card decks (plus a little extra room for tokens/sideboards) - that's not even enough dividers for one row of decks (figuring you would use one before and after the decks in each row for protection, a la toploaders at the ends of Fat Packs). I'm not sure what the actual cost of these dividers are in the grand scheme of things, but they should have at least given us a nice even number like 10 (or 12). In any case, the art on them is still awesome, and it's not complicated to make some thin cardboard dividers.
As far as the space efficiency of the box goes, how do people store their fat pack/other boxes and how many decks do people have on average? For me, all 12 of my EDH decks fit PERFECT in the box, so I think the efficiency thing is not something everyone has to worry about - you could alternatively keep the slip cover and use it to keep the box securely closed then stand it up, but I'm not sure how much abuse it would take before it ripped.
I couldn't find this posted in this thread, so please forgive me if it has been mentioned before, but Amazon lists the dimensions of the box as 9.3 x 4.1 x 8.9 inches.
This has been asked repeatedly. Yes, the box is deep enough to hold sleeved cards.
I was super happy with my boosters pretty much for the first time ever. Got a Righteous Authority, Hallowed Fountain, Dreadbore, and now my fourth Abrupt Decay.
The box, dividers, and labels are all excellent. Definitely worth picking up one just for those.

It's pretty. Foil cards are easier to damage than non-foil, so they should be worth less by your logic.
Have seen so many of them and probably around 50 boxes opened.
As i read here its a fair amount of them around, so "somehow" it seems to contain more of them than regular boosters.
I however will open more of them.
