Ominous Eclipse 1WBB
Sorcery (Rare)
Destroy all creatures. Each player reveals his or her hand and discards all creature cards.
An MTGS user's friend sent the card to him who then sent it to me to see if I could spot anything to prove the card fake. This user's friend is the same that made fake the fake Simic Charm and Temple Servant, so obviously, I'm a little skeptical. However, this time, the format is different, it's not a simple picture on the computer, but an actual photo of a card. This guy has apparently seen many of the cards from GTC, but can only show this one. We cannot see the details of the card very well, at this point, the best way to prove it fake is if someone recognizes the artwork from somewhere else.
As for me, I find the foiling looks odd, it just seems like a bunch of spots all over the card. Also, the card is just too powerful, I can't imagine any decks other than control and reanimator being playable with this around...
i'm enjoying these spoilers--fake or not--because they are all intelligently designed. if they are fake, someone is putting a LOT of effort into something with no real reciprocal benefit.

The set symbol doesn't seem right in my view. Fake or not, its a pretty good attempt.
If that's a fake, it's a really good one. I could see a card like this being real.

Imagine if this were real how strong this is, sweepers generally just remove the board so if your opponent plays conservatively he can out smart you this card trumps that and basically makes him go top deck mode against you.
This thread is full of idiots... Lightning Bolt is NOT being reprinted.
Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.

I agree for sure, like I said IF this was real my tokens would love it. Sure clear the board and keep all my gas. No this seems to good to be true.
Aren't watermarks a little more prominent on foils? I can faintly see it if it is an orzhov card,
This detail is convincing me that it's fake. I thought every gold card in the RtR block had a guild stamp on it, and a very visible one on foil cards. If there's one on this card I don't know how I'm not seeing it.
Agreed that this card is backbreaking against any kind of aggro.
That card is the most broken thing i've seen in a long time it's most definately a fake design would be out of their mind and out of their jobs creating that monstrosity.
I believe its a fake card. The water mark - which is always very prominent is barely noticable here (not present at all?) and this is probably only my imagination but the black border of the card seems odd...almost digitalized, especially the bottom/left corner.
Waaayyyyyy too shiny... I call shenanigans. With Supreme Verdict in RTR, why would they make another rare Wrath-effect? I can see something that reveals all creature cards, makes them be discarded, then removes from the game all creatures in all GY's, but not something like this.
The power level for a staple rare seams a bit too high. About as real as the Chupacabra, the Jersey Devil, and the Tooth Faerie!
I agree that the black border is weird. Too black and crisp, compared to the rest of the picture. It almost looks like the rest of the card was made and photographed, and the border was photoshopped in.
Ridiculously overpowered. It punishes over extension and under extension at the same time. It's the kind of card that leaves the opponent out of options.
This would cost at least 7 mana but it could cost more.

Yes, I agree; this is an awesome card, with an awesome name and an awesome effect, and it does fit the theme of the Orzhov, but it is simply too powerful for only 4 mana. A card with two powerful effects, such as those, should definitely cost 6 or even 7 mana, in my opinion.

Does this fit the guild's style? or classic white, and typical black on one card. im not sure but im going to look over rtr cards to see if there is similar.... maybe epic experiment?

Also, the actual text seems to be worded funny. I think it should be either:
"Destroy all creatures. Then, each player discards all creature cards from his or her hand."
Or:
"Destroy all creatures.
Each player discards all creatures from his or her hand."
Because with the way it is worded, it seems like it is all run together. Also, the artwork does not look like Rob Alexander artwork.

Wrong, if the players dont reveal their hands then there is no way to proove that they discarded all creature cards in hand.
This would cost at least 7 mana but it could cost more.

This is exactly the kind of wrath that would be Modern playable. Good lord this thing does work.

A shame, because the flavor and name are awesome.
