Got one at MSRP, still a few available at LGS but I'm letting others who will play the cards buy them. Casual LGS, mostly kids, not many (if any) cut throat traders.

$125 is a ripoff, you can get a sealed box on eBay for $80 shipped.
The owner of the store I go to said he was selling them for 125$ because they were cheaper than what other stores were selling them for. He didn't care that on ebay they were 80-85 dollars with tons at 90. He has never been interesting with selling them at or even near ebay prices as with FTV: Legends he was selling them for 75 dollars for the longest time even though they were all over ebay for 40-50. He cares about the players, but he is motivated by the money. If he sees a way to get more money for something from the few people who are willing to shell out the money for the higher priced product then he will. I do not fault him for it, and he does not fault me for going to ebay to purchase product. He knows the price I will pay and I always let him know. He gets my box money so he has me as a customer and I show up for FNM all the time which also yields money for him.
In the end some places will gouge their customers because they can. I just feel bad when people say their store owners are dicks to them when they don't purchase it from them for the way over market value of a product. I don't blame stores for trying to rake in all the money they can, but they will sell a lot less product and be sitting on it for a lot longer along with pissing off some customers who may find out they could have gotten it for significantly cheaper somewhere else.
Seriously guys... this is the one product that WOTC actually says "go ahead and mark it up, it's a collectible." Suddenly they are nasty store owners because they say "thanks?"
Considering how much good our local shops do for our scenes... I'd say throw them this once a year bone. You don't have to buy it, but don't rag on them if this is the one time they "rip you off." They aren't supposed to for Duel Decks or Event Decks... yet no one thinks twice when it happens there, and half the time people say "OMG that shop was sooo stupid for selling me that for MSRP..."
Ok but how much money would a store owner make if there was a limited print run for 3 months at 30-40 per box msrp, or getting a handful to sell at the highest price possible? It isnt really fair for customers to deal with this, and I think it is just bad PR and marketing for the game. WOTC can do many things such as rare judge style promos from their best shops like FMN promos, but to give out a product people are interested in in the manner in which they do it isnt really fair to anyone shop owners or customers.

Here's the thing. Customers of other stores have to deal with this on a daily basis, it's just not as obvious or transparent as it is here. That bottle of beer at the bar? You just paid $8 for something that cost the bar $1 tops to get in the door. That cool new shirt at Target? 300% mark up because it is their own label. That bottle of pop at the gas station followed by a car wash? $10 total cost the place under a buck to bring in...
LGS told me and my brother they'd be selling them for MSRP when we went to visit and buy some singles last week. He waited outside for three hours before the store opened because they were only going to be getting 18 of them. When they got the shipment in and my brother's name was called off the list to make the purchase they then informed them that they had marked them up to $75...

Now see, THIS is when to get mad at the LGS. They might have had a "good" reason to do what they did, but it sure as heck seems like "oops, I didn't know they'd be going for so much online... mark 'um up quickly!"
I just got back with my copy. My LGS sold most of them at MSRP (I was the first to ask about preordering it), then held a couple back (3 or 4) to sell at $70 to make some profit off the set, but he was stating from the beginning that he was considering saving some of the copies to mark up.

I do.
Stores buy product very low under MSRP. My LGS told me that the standard rate is about 48% of the MSRP is what they get the product for, and then anything above that 48% is pretty much straight profit. So stores are still making money selling them at MSRP or even at $10-$15 above.
In the long run it's all about how many people you want to keep coming back to your store. I wouldn't keep going back to somebody that bumped up the prices like crazy, so he'd lose a lot of money from me in the long run. Sure, he sold that one product at a crazy rate, but he won't get any more of my money after that!
My LGS told me last week they were going to sell them @ msrp because "he didn't want to screw his loyal customers" then he tuned around and put on Facebook Wednesday "prepay for your From The Vault: Realms for only $75 don't miss this great deal!" (So much for not screwing your loyal customers Barry). So I decided to take a short roadtrip to a store an hour away to get one for $35 I also stopped off at a badass little burger joint while I was there.
Yea, my LGS pre-ordered 12 of his 18 copies and then said that we could either come in or call him to reserve one the day of release at MSRP. I called right when they opened and he got one set aside for me and is shipping it to me too My "LGS" is actually over an hour and a half away because that's where I went to college and want to still give them my business because of how honest with prices they've been for the past 5 years.
Did anyone buy this and open the cards? My friend texted me saying the cards felt flimsy. After FNM I went home and checked mine. They definitely feel flimsy, though they don't appear to be more fragile than regular cards. Anyone else notice this?

Not really flimsy, but super warping going on. And I was hoping for that not to be present, since recent foils I have gotten (M13, AVR, ISD) have been crisp and no warping.
Look at your hand, and now back to me. Now back at your hand. Sadly it isn't my hand, but if you shuffle better it could be. Where are you? You're at your LGS drawing the hand you could have had. What's in your hand? Back to me. I have already played two Herbal Poultices. Look at it again. Those poultices are now Tarmogoyfs. Anything is possible when you shuffle better. I'm on a Phelddagrif.
