Ah, so if the Cascade thing is GU then that means Cascade is probably limited to just the one deck with Maelstrom Wanderer (presumably "Chaos Reigns"). Having each of the four decks built around a keyword mechanic (including new cards with the mechanic) is an interesting direction, and makes me more excited to see these than I would the usual themed deck like the original Planechase.
So, the keywords would probably be Cascade in Chaos Reigns, Ninjutsu in Night of the Ninja, Devour in Primordial Hunger, and probably Totem Armor in Savage Auras. Neat! All of those are fun mechanics for the kind of casual style that this product is meant for.
WotC Employee: "Hey Edric, were you feeling lonely?"
Edric: "No. Why do you ask?"
WotC Employee: "Oh, no reason.";)
Seriously, Cascadebear is just asking to be broken. I'm actually a bit worried; we don't want a situation where one of the decks isn't available to casual players because the scalpers got it first, and the speculation prices on this will be big.

i wish the UB Ninja was white too... that way i could use him to replace the general for my unblockables.dek
Ninjitsu could easily have been pushed white... (hopeful thinking)
I really am looking forward to the RG minotaur tho, because i'm thinking about scrapping my werewolf EDH deck as puppies is too linear for a theme to be added onto for future sets.

I'm thinking Aura Swap for the aura deck. Totem Armor is really nice for limited since it hoses destroy, but it's not as splashy and not helpful if the creature gets hit by anything other than "destroy" removal.

Aura Swap is not a mechanic with a whole lot of design space. Arcanum Wings is cool but how many more meaningfully distinct cards can you actually get out of it? The point of the mechanic is just to cheat out other Auras, so it's not like the card itself matters that much. New cards with Aura Swap would not be that interesting since they'd essentially all do the same thing in the end.
Totem Armor is a very popular mechanic, at least for casual play (where Auras are already more commonly played). It has plenty more design space to play around in. And it's not like Devour or Ninjutsu are powerhouse mechanics either, but we're getting new cards for them, too. Besides, the name of the deck is "Savage Auras." Auras with Totem Armor all have wild animal flavor. Perfect match.
Aura Swap appears on literally only one card, too, so many, many players have never even heard of it. Far more know of Totem Armor and have decks built around it. From what little we know so far it looks like these new cards and decks are going to be aimed at supporting popular mechanics for common casual deck archetypes. Aura Swap doesn't fit that mold nearly as well as Totem Armor, plus all the other reasons above.

For what it's worth, enchant _____ is a keyword. And there aren't enough cards with aura swap for it to be the theme. They can't just make a lot of new auras just for the one mechanic.
Spell Pierce Bear is also hilariously bad, and Stifle Bear is pointless. But Spell Snare Bear...ooh, I did not previously realize how much of a nonbo that poor Cascade is. Spell Snare's only legal target is likely poor Bear.
Cascade Bear may find a home in NO RUG, but definitely not Spell Snare-loving Tempo Thresh.
That is true, at least, so Spell Snare Bear is only as pointless as Stifle Bear. I remember not casting the Thoughtseizes Bloodbraid Elf would hand to me when my opponent had no hand.
The fact that most edh decks have no cmc 1 spells means that you can easily insert cascade bear packages. Going to piss off tables when you flip open 3/4 of your deck too, but a bear which is randomly a treespeaker, three cards (ancestral vision) or dryad arbor (gsz) should be awesome

That ninja legend is gonna get so much play, for the ability, but mainly b/c it's a frikkin' ninja. Hopefully the art for it is awesome.
I'm looking forward to the release of Planechase. I don't want any of the planes, merely the sweet new legends!
Whaa...? This guy blows. Mindleech Mass is so much better. This makes just as much sense as Shen from League of Legends being a "tank" rather than melee dps, in terms of how this card relates to the "ninja" aspect of being a fatty with a rather mediocre effect. What a horrible effect for that Ninja...
I think that having Planechase cards as big and splashy EDH cards is the right direction. Most planechase players are casual and/or EDH players. Two birds with one stone.
Also throwing around a few legacy possibles never hurts. Though the cascade bear might be tugging for everyone to have a few. I'll just keep one for EDH, but hopefully RUG precon will have the planes I want multiples of since I'd love to have some UG bears to trade.
Also I hope the UG cascade is a bear. So much fun then.
Considering how vague and generic your claims are and the fact that you provide zero evidence, going to call bull on this.
Seems like you lazily packed in a bunch of buzzy tropes from the game that people like (ninjas, cascade, warp world, potential commanders) in hopes to try and get some attention from the supremely naive.
Not to mention "X squared" is overly complicated math that Wizards tries to avoid outside of Unsets.
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.

Ancestral Vision Bear: And you thought Bloodbraid Elf into Vision was broken.
Brainstorm Bear: Best Elvish Visionary ever.
Ponder Bear: Actually, this might be the best Elvish Visionary ever.
Gut Shot Bear: Look, it can hurt things!
Sensei's Divining Top Bear: It's half the CounterTop!
Spell Snare Bear: ...Well, at least it tried.
Stifle Bear: It's trying...really hard...but I believe Tempo Thresh would rather play Tiago...
Nimble Mongoose Bear: Uh oh.
Delver of Secrets Bear: Double trouble.
Noble Hierarch Bear: Comes with its own Exalted trigger!
Green Sun's Zenith Bear: ...Free Dryad Arbor.
I want a Lightning Bolt bear, a Swords to Plowshares bear, and a Thoughtseize bear, too.
...Oh, and a Grim Lavamancer bear would be nice, too. And a Mother of Runes bear.
Don't forget (Land, Petal, UG Cascade -- Turn one, Hypergenesis.) and even if it's in turn two, it's still a great card.
I totally want to do this now.
Cascade Bear may find a home in NO RUG, but definitely not Spell Snare-loving Tempo Thresh.
It can find your Training Grounds and the package your Dizzy Spell uses. Besides Ponder and variants, you should have Pongify, super-cheap mana rocks, Mystic Remora, Mystical Tutor....and those are just the blue options.

Hey man you were really being mean spirited to the topic creator, AND you turned out to be wrong, can you apologize or something?
As for the new cards:
UG cascade bear...omg! So awesome. Is it legendary?
New ninja...meh not really my colors but I know a few EDH players who are going to LOVE this.
I can't wait to see the minotaur legend. He'll rock. Minotaurs always do. I love the new mana rock.
