This should be about as close as we'll get to PDS: Zombies, so I'll take it. I won't mind seeing some awesome reanimation spells for my Geth Commander Deck.
I don't believe it... Swanland art that's both not entirely jagged and also has blue and green in it.
/impressed
I thought the same thing. There is absolutely nothing "Ray Swanland" about this art, and it is very cool (I personally like a lot of his signature work, too).
woot 5 color ranimation???totally buying this
lots of duels me thinks
It's probably more in that creatures of any color will be in the deck to be brought out of the 'yard. It'll probably be UB or even mono-B but not restrict itself to what creatures it tries to reanimate.
nah, it'll probably be just a bunch of vivid lands and ravnica karoos.
i hope they print an entomb and a buried alive in here. i'll buy four if they do.
The predominant colour in reanimator decks is black right? I'm thinking it could be black, with CREATURES from all 5 colours, as opposed to the deck itself generating all 5 colours of mana, but that's just a guess. I'm just remembering all of the reanimator decks I've seen.
considering I've already got a pretty good reanimation deck, I might give this a look after it's been on shelves for a while and snag it for under $20 like I did with fire and lightning
biggest problem these decks have is the lack of multiples and different land art used

I don't suppose anyone has any idea what that could be the art for?
Reanimate?
Sounds like it will be monoblack with the exceptions of the reanimate targets. I wonder what they'll choose since a few of the best targets are mythic - maybe Inkwell Leviathan, Blazing Archon, It that Betrays, Sundering Titan, and Terrastadon. I don't see them reprinting stuff like Akroma, Sphinx of the Steel Wind, or Iona as rare, though I would love to get one of those sphinxes.
If there aren't multiples of cards, it will probably make a decent EDH base. I do not use shenanigans involving my own GY, but I am glad they are reprinting nice cards for Legacy.

If we're talking Eldrazi, Pathrazer of Ulamog is infinitely better. Reanimation decks primary goals are to get a nasty fatty in play as quick as possible so creature kill isn't really that big in it's game as it slows it down. The most important things to consider when selecting reanimation targets for your deck is to ensure that they either have some sort of evasion or protection so they can get in and do their damage quick and easy, or have game ending effects when dropped early. (obviously you want as many of these conditions on the card as possible)
As for targets, I don't think we'll be getting any mythics, so that puts a damper on goodies like Akroma, or game ending drops like Empyrial Archangel, and Iona, Shield of Emeria, but still gives us the possibility to see favorites and other game winners like Rorix Bladewing and Blazing Archon.

I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.
Excuse me, but which relation has a Premium Deck with the theme of a new block? 'Slivers' didn't lead to a sliver containing block and 'fire & lightning' neither lead into a burn oriented block.
I just can't understand how you can draw such conclusions
Do you believe in horsocopes as well?
Maybe he's not saying that this Premium deck confirms that Innistrad is GY based, but rather that this goes hand-in-hand with Innistrad being graveyard based. Flashback has pretty much been confirmed in Innistrad and we are getting juicy gy stuff in M12 (Zombie Infestation). Not to mention keyword update of 'dies'
I was thinking what creature cards in magic allow for reaninmation? What creatures have the ability aside from sheolred to bring back a creature from the yard?

So happy to see this. Though as mentioned, not printing mythics in precons kind of put a damper on the big targets. Still, worth getting just to have foil Exhume and Reanimate for me. Entomb is good too I guess
It's too bad these don't come in non-foil versions, if they did I'd buy 4, unfortunately since I hate foils so i won't be getting these.
The idea of PDS IS that it's foil (premium). I feel like "Premium decks without the premium" might not go over quite the same Shame for the people who genuinely don't like foils, though

On the other hand, this is still some exciting news, cause even if the deck blows, the skull spindown will be hawt.

The art reminds me of Soul Exchange, but I can't imagine this deck having Thrulls in it.

Based on current pricing, foil entombs alone make this a bargain
