Would anyone else prefer that they *not* do these as "premium" - I love the deck idea - but I absolutely despise foils - and would far prefer to see this on normal cardstock.
That being said I used to play against the Hump in the Boston area in the late 90s and he was about the smartest and craftiest player I ever lost to - so I'm curious to see how this deck is constructed and functions.

I agree, I would love to see some reanimator vs trix or gobo sligh vs draw go.

Yeah, I would prefer normal cards as well. But I will say that most of the cards from the Fire & Lightning deck looked awesome as shinys...er, foils.
Too bad to play reanimator you need certain lands worth 125$ each !
I'm planning on investing in a playset of Underground Sea soon and with this new Premium deck, I'm almost certainly going to build Legacy Reanimator. I have all the countermagic and reanimation dorks already so buying four Premium Deck: Graveborn should be all it takes to build a good Reanimator deck.
Thanks for this, Wizards! Premium Deck: Fire and Lightning was already amazing but this one looks to be even better.

I guess it depends on the level of dedication you really want to put towards it. Reanimator has not been exactly that competitive for a while, since dredge made a slew of graveyard hate come available.
With that said, pauper and peasant variants have disgusting reanimator decks, as even the basics can get by with buried alive and discard.

Hear, hear!
As another poster pointed out, maybe down the line we can get nonpremium duel decks of the Burn v. Reanimator or other Premium decks. Those are sets I would buy, unlike these all premium sets.
It is just a matter of preference, but at $30 or more a piece, it is sizable over this gamer's lifetime.
Still it will be fun to see what made their decklist. I suppose Bazaar of Baghdad is far too much to ask for?
Cheers!

If in the area, check out Gamers N Geeks and Mini War Games in Mobile, Alabama and Underhill's Games in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
woot 5 color ranimation???totally buying this
lots of duels me thinks
Maybe, but there won't be any duals, because all the swamps will produce black. You get the non-black cards into the graveyard, and then use black spells to reanimate them back out. No other colors necessary.
First, Animate Dead BETTER show up or this product is just a joke. I'm fully expecting the "big 3" of reanimate / animate dead / entomb. I have faith that we'll see this because Commander was a fantastic release + in terms of getting "older" cards back into the mix, WotC has been on an upward trend. Breaking reserved list issues for Volrath's Stronghold is a pipe dream, but some of the more obscure-yet-awesome cards such as Animate Dead and Dance of the Dead should be here.
Since card types, and subtypes can be changes and altered by other cards, could a wording like this work?
Enchantment.
When Animate Dead enters the battlefield, Return target creature from a graveyard to the battlefield under your control. Animate dead becomes and enchanment - aura, attach it to that creature.
When animate dead leaves the battlefield. Enchanted creatures controler sacrifces it.
Glitch and Rickdaninja are on the right page. At worst, Wizards will just heavily errata the card outside of the physical rules written on the card. In terms of "lines of text" you can go up to 9. Jace, the Mind Sculptor is the most popular example of a newer card with lots of text in a small area. The new card face gives more space overall, so it's not a stretch to have either a) a simple wording + outside errata or b) a long rules text that spells it all out.
------
To speculate on other inclusions, I don't know what else they would like to pack in the deck. Doomed Necromancer or Coffin Queen would be sweet additions imo. Doomed has been reprinted several times (because it's a fun casual card) and Coffin could easily see play as well.
There will also need to be "dumpers" beyond buried alive (very probable) and entomb. Sickening Dreams seems like an idea. Perhaps they make it interesting and include Putrid Imp? I just hope they skip over gravedigger crap in favor of Puppeteer Clique / Beacon of Unrest / Corpse Connoisseur, who add flavor and good dynamics. God knows who the targets of the deck are. That's another issue.

I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.

Is it posssible to include the Skabb's from INN? like a great option would be the armors skaab, because it mills you for reanimation targets as well. It's just a common so it doesn't take up alot. Idk, it kinda fits in the overall feel.

For Reanimation targets I can see Akroma, and Phantom Nishoba being in, concidering they are in 90% of Legacy reanimator decks.

60-card premium foil deck, including 8 rare cards
The questions are, "will those rares be the creatures" and if so, "does 'rare' mean Rare and Mythic Rare." A majority of the good reanimator creatures have come from the last few sets, mostly mythics.

Weirdly, standard has been BAD since JTMS was banned, it hasn't been fun, nor healthy since.

Anyone else thinks they'll go mono black and have stuff like Kuro, Pitlord, Scion of Darkness, Pestilence Demon, Umbra Stalker. Meh Reanimator targets?
It says right in the product description that the deck includes creatures from all colors.
R Citizen Cane (Feldon of the Third Path)
It was already announced that the reanimation targets will span all five colors.
Looks childish.

I'm really hoping for a foil entomb and a foil animate dead out of this. Also, 24 foil swamps are nice too.
