I will definitely be getting 2 of these and then I will playtest them against The Slivers and Fire and Lightning decks to see which one is the better deck.
Lot of my cards's face has been scratched, and the back of some have been utterly destroyed, with giant patchs of cardboard being ripped off.
I strongly advice that you open your package on your LGS's counter, just in case.
That's...odd. All the cards in the four boxes I got were in pretty much mint condition when I opened them.
I just did a couple of plays of this deck against F&L (both as they come out of the box). F&L pretty consistently won, due to it being significantly faster, but both are quite fun to play in general. It definitely needs some minor alterations to be really great, but it's pretty good as is.
I just bought a Graveborn box from Walmart and I was in the process of opening it and I noticed that the box had 2 Avatar of Woe inside. (one on the front, and one on the back) From looking at the list I'm missing Blazing Archon. Has anyone else seen this before?

Its pretty common in the duel decks. I always check the packaging when I pick one out - hoping I'd make a score like yours. Avatar of Woe > Blazing Archon.

Just imagine a mistake and getting 2x Entomb. Now that would be a really pleasant surprise.
Any time cards are displayed like this IE hand placed. There is a risk of stuff occurring where doubles pop up. One of my buddies originally got a FTV: Relics with 2x SoBaM missing the Masticore pack. He was fortunately able to return it, and get a corrected FTV (it was never opened). These things occur, and sometimes they can work out in your favor. Tell my friend he could have gotten just super lucky and gotten a 2 diamond box and then he'd of never returned it heh.

Somebody reported getting 2x Nicol Bolas, PlaneswalkerFoil in the Duel Decks: Ajani vs Bolas pack... so it does happen from time to time.
Picked up two boxes yesterday from my local gaming shop.
I just thought I'd chime in for anyone thinking of buying some on my thoughts of the card quality.
The foiling process is different from what I've seen in the past. For example Zendikar foils are a little bit prismatic or holographic. That is to say, moving the zendikar foils in and out of light, you should catch a spectrum of different colors somewhat like a hologram (though not to that extreme)
In contrast, the foils in graveborn are just...foils. Theres much more emphasis on being shiny and metallic. As far as I can tell, no prismatic panoply of colors entreats the eye.
Basically, if zendikar foils are 75% foil, 25% holographic, then graveborn foils are 100% foil.
There's no warping as far as I can tell; all my cards were flat without any hint of bending or curving.
I'm sure the foiling process will appeal to some people. It looks nice no doubt. But I've still yet to decide if I like it better than regular block foils.
On another note: my biggest gripe about the box so far, as another poster mentioned, has been the placement of entomb. Entomb is slotted in between plastic rivets holding it into the card position. It was in fairly tightly, so I ended up damaging the card taking it out. (it went from Mint to NM) There's no easy way of taking out entomb without bending the card slightly, or raking a nail to pry it out.
Overall though, I'm happy with my purchase. It's a great product for anyone who was holding off building a reanimator deck with tons of extra material for casual play. Anyone who was looking to pick these up for just reanimator staples will also get the added bonus of a number of fantastic looking fatties for casual play, approximately 20 foil swamps, and foil versions of some great utility cards like duress.

Bend the plastic around it and it will not bend the card but let it pop out. Thats what I did and had no problems getting the card out still mint.
Just curious, how would this deck play out vs. Fire and Lighting? I think this list is much stronger, but was curious if anyone had played a few rounds.
I played 2 out of 3 with a friend with both decks... Graveborn won the match but was a close game. One issue was that most of the burn had to go to the face rather than to the creatures, because you could just bring them back.
I guess no one else has issues with the printing? My Crosis is mostly black, and I can barely make out any details besides his eyes and teeth.

They are holographic under the right conditions, but only certain features of the cards have holographic properties. As far as I can tell, F&L was the same way, and I much prefer the subdued look.

Hey,
I agree that these foils look really dark. In some cases, I think it's pretty nice looking. In the case of crosis, it's hard to see some of the details which is a shame because it's great looking art.
It def. seems different than the foiling on previous PDS.

Good to know I don't have to go looking for another set to compare. Most of the cards are unaffected by this problem, the only two that stand out are Hidden Horror and Crosis. I don't care that much about Hidden Horror (although that art is cool in its own right), but the new Crosis art was a big draw for me personally, and it's a shame that it didn't turn out as well as it should have.
Just wanted to add that I got mine and some of these foils look beautiful. Particularly Crosis, Avatar, and Terastodon. This was money well spent for sure.
Wait, your Crosis isn't really dark? I can barely make out the features on his face.
I bought a case of these (still sealed) from my local gaming store to get my playset of Entombs and such. One of the sealed Graveborn packages I took out of a sealed case of four was missing the die.
I plan on complaining to Wizards. I got four PDS: Slivers dice, four PDS: Fire and Lightning dice, four FTV: Exiled dice, and four FTV: Relics die. But I only got three PDS: Graveborn dice despite buying four packages.

I was driven from this once-great site by abusive mods and admins, who create rules out of thin air to punish people for breaking them (meaning the rule does not exist under forum rules) and selectively enforce the rules that are written on the forum rules. So, with this set, four of the five legendary dragons from Invasion (Crosis, Darigaaz, Rith, and Treva) have been reprinted in the post-Eight Edition card frame, leaving only Dromar having not been reprinted. How likely is it that Dromar shall be reprinted in the near future? I would very much like to see him (is Dromar male or female?) reprinted at some point in time.

I got mine last night! I love the Archon foil (the edges are silver!) and the Sphinx looks awesome as well.
Still haven't playtested it. Need some good sleeves for that. I'm using some nice sliver looking dragon sleeves for PDS: Slivers, and Chandra Ablaze sleeves for Fire and Lightning.

Dromar is a she (as are Rith and Treva). I'd love to see her get new art/new frame treatment too, but I don't really expect it. Then again, I never expected Treva either.
Crosis made sense because he was the go-to Entomb/Death target when this was a standard deck.

I knew that Treva was female, but I am surprised to learn that Dromar and Rith are, as well, as their names sounded very masculine to me. Why did you not expect them to be reprinted?

I was wondering if Walmart would have these. My LGS only accepts cash and I'm strapped out of that. I'm using my credit card to complete my playset.

Walmart sells Fire and Lightning so they probably sell these as well.
