Yeah, they say that secondary market value doesn't affect their reprint policy, but clearly it affects the number of valuable (because they don't suck) cards they're willing to put into a precon.
This.
Only 8 rares in a 30 dollar product is absurd.
We got 18 in the commander precons, and even that was disappointing. (like, why did the ghave deck not have doubling season? Simply THE most obvious reprint possible.
These decks should have at least 12 rares in them, and multiple copies at that so they can actually be playable out of the box.
like in fire and lightning, only having like 1of EVERYTHING was so stupid.
Looks like Wizards is going to be releasing decks that tie in thematically with the fall set. Last year we had FTV: Relics and Elspeth vs Tezzeret released around the time of Scars and this year we've got a graveyard/reanimation deck being released about a month after Innistrad, a graveyard-centric set.
... you realize entomb buys most of the deck, don't you?

P.S im sorry that this "wall" of text is very scary and menacing but i believe you can do it the lack of gramer and punctuation is because i have a blood fued with it due to the fact when i was four and the teacher said i would die poor and lonely and the kids would dance on my grave when i died because i could not correctly punctuate with commas
Actually, a lot of people (probably the majority) like foils better than non-foils. Maybe it's a matter of preference though, but I love my all-foil Commander deck. Oh, and no one is telling you to use the Premium foil instead of the old card.
You're assuming I have one. and I know plenty of people who dislike foils.
They're thicker and don't feel right when you shuffle them.
They bend like mad unless you live in frickin arizona or some other arid hellhole.
Glare from overhead lights can make them totally unreadable.
If you use foils in any tournament deck, be prepared to have a judge called on you unless every card in the deck is foil.
The foil layer can split and peel off with heavy play or mishandling.
I'll just be disappointed if they fill all the rare slots with crappy huge creatures that were sitting in people's dollar sections anyway. Inkwell, Sphinxes, and crap like that. I'd really like to have something worth buying it over other than newer picture Exhumes or something.
Oh, and we sure as hell don't need yet another Living Death reprint.

So don't buy it. There are plenty of products that don't have foils in them.
Honestly, this sounds like people complaining about new borders being used in Commander or something. Beyond your control, and not worth complaining about.
The sparkmage shrieked, calling on the rage of the storms of his youth.
To his surprise, the sky responded with a fierce energy he'd never thought to see again.
I think they must make these foils bend on purpose. Even pressing in a book under a stack of books for months only slightly flattened my FTV dragons. I guess they want to force these to stay in casual play. Who says they don't consider the secondary market?
I like the idea... but it looks like Wizards has made Force of Will a $150 card and at this point it might be smarter for wizards to place Force of Will on the reserve list.
Where do you get your information from? Seriously, you sound like an uninformed fool (and you probably are).

Im convinced the majority of the people on this board simply complain for no reason what so ever, except some sort of self amusement. I saw a post once where some one complained and rufused to play a card because the order of it's three colored mana cost wasn't in the right order and "ruined the flavor".
That's like refusing to go out side today because the sky isnt as blue as it was yesterday.
This deck has potential to be nice... Except for that horrible expansion symbol! Horrible! I will refuse to play with any of he cards from it.

I know you're sarcastic, but I might buy this directly because of the expansion symbol.

Really? What if it's just a bunch of janky VonWeaksauce? I personally could careless about stuff like that. I mean half the cards I play have art that looks like a cat vomited sherbert onto another cat, and the expansion symbol is some nonimpressive symbol, but as long as it does something moderatly useful I'll buy it/play it.

Premium Decks, FTV, or DotP would be the perfect place to reprint it, I guess. It'll never see Standard again.
The problem is if Force of Will isnt reprinted this year then the cost of the card is likely to jump to 150 a pop or even more next year and then a reprinting would hurt collectors and traiders... we are looking at *Carrion Ants number 2...
Those that are not familiar to the Carrion Ant story... The reprinting crash the collectors value and Wizards created the reserve list to correct their mistake.

Oh so your source is based off a "prediction" well that's nice but in the mean time in present-time land fow is 60-80, and that's using scg prices which are almost always inflated.
While Brainstorm is used in competitive reanimator decks, isn't it a bit off-theme? It draws cards, protects key cards from discard, and improves overall quality of card selection when used in combination with plenty of shuffle effects, but it does nothing that directly contributes to the archetype on its own aside from just being a damn good spell. I'd think that something like Frantic Search, Tolarian Winds, Careful Study would be more likely for the precon since they all dig into the deck and give players a way to keep their hand stocked with reanimation and their yards full of viable targets.
I'm actually most reminded of Lim-Dûl the Necromancer by that art. It could be any number of things, really, but I'm guessing it's some manner of kill spell (Ghastly Demise and Hideous End would fit) or discard (Despise and Cabal Therapy seem possible), likely with a reference to Lim-Dûl in the flavor text.
So basically worthless. I'll pass if this is true. Wizards is horrible at building decks
I don't get this. Entomb is currently going for about $32. Nonfoil. The MSRP on the deck is $30, which even with depreciation for being reprinted will be far less than the value of a foil Entomb - not to mention the other 35 foils (assuming 24 land)

Agreed, there is potential for a LOT of great, highly playable reprints outside of Entomb, if you can get it for MSRP, you are basically making money.

Add me to the list of people who think foils suck.
I can't see how anyone likes them, unless you really dig cards that are warped worse than the letter U.
If this set comes with Entomb I would rather it be non-foil than foil.
