Liliana is, um, interesting. Meh? Glad she costs 3, but not seeing great value at first glance.
EDIT: Well, obviously she works good at filling up graveyards and making you discard stuff you want in the graveyard. Chandra's Phoenix with Chandra seems ok. She's obviously going to be specialized. My Johnny sense just isn't tingling when I see her.
EDIT 2 (Instead of filling up new posts): After thinking about it for a few minutes, yeah, She's clearly made for Spikes. She's good for the mini-games and increments that they love. Maybe, just maybe, she won't be $30. I'm just not interested in her.
Fiend Hunter is great flavor. I love Faceless Butcher in White; makes perfect sense.
Fiend hunter is like the next level leonin relic warder. It seems pretty decent, especially with the tricks you can do in modern.
Liliana is...disappointing. The -2 seems decent and the ultimate seems OK as well. The + ability could be decent, but the card as a whole seems pretty underwhelming.

Double discard seems kind of bad. Ultimate doesn't seem good against aggro. Yet, maybe a good sideboard card against control matchups? Play her late and discard land, or edict their titan.
Liliana looks pretty fricken' sweet. Personally, I think she makes Hellbent decks look good. It's like she was made for Black/Red Madness!

Seems like an outstanding PW. Especially if your deck has a lot of flashback or cards that actively WANT to be in the graveyard. I can see Liliana being quite competitive in the right deck.
I like liliana....ill be sure to buy 2 and see how they go... if they are popular, ill finish my playset. Overall, if she costed 4...id hate it, but for 3 and flashback is back....she seems decent to great
It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.
I have always said to myself "Faceless Butcher would be good if it only cost 1 less mana". Liliana seems fairly mediocre, but Fiend Hunter is ridiculous. Faceless Butcher was good before, and now they have to make it cost less?
I guess I'm weird. I hate the Lilliana picture, but love the card. Great value must have, in fact my Damia, sage of stone edh deck really desperately needs this card. one of the better walkers around... is there an alternative art version though? the lilliana on the throne is better.

Don't forget that her +1 also is a *great* way for Black to setup a possible turn 4 reanimate!
As as mentioned, she sets up Flashback quite well.

Take your monoblack deck, then set aside 14 swamps. Add 4 Creeping Tar Pits, 4 Darkslick Shores, 4 Drowned Catacombs, and 2 Jwar isle Refuge and add 4 Jace, the Mindsculptors. Your monoblack deck is instantly better. Better yet, drop those refuges, throw in some islands and some mana leaks, and lo and behold, you're now playing a real deck. Congratulations. The trick with her is going to be finding a way to make the +1 work. Definitely not an automatic 4x walker.

I guess you could use her +1 to drop creatures to the graveyard.

Too many questions, so few answers. But dat Wayne Reynolds art on the awesomely-named Fiend Hunter! Nice flavor on that guy.
another 3cmc walker.
I love her ultimate.
Big field? All lands in 1 pile, all other permanents in another
Her +1 I dislike - we need madness for it to be really good.
-2 is great.
Overall do like.
