Sarkhan has a lot more value outside of Standard. His 0 ability has great applications with stuff like Top or Sylvan Library. Dark Confidant is still better but he's another card drawer.
Ulamog is boring. His name reminds me of one of my favourite poems and I'm disappointed he's so boring

That Sarkhan is... actually very well designed. I love the fact that they are taking Planeswalkers to a new direction by giving them the ability to start off high and go down low. The abilities fit his colors too...and the whole "Mad" surname, as odd as it sounds, is actually fitting with the card itself.
Ulamog is big. All I gotta say.
Bear Umbra is chill. I like how the Auras are coming along.
why would they print sarkhan? he basically says "lets make jund stronger"
Now jund has a dark confidant that makes your bloodbraid better and makes broodmate awesome

Because she's the hero standard deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll chase her... because she can take it... because she's not a hero... she's a silent guardian
Loving the new Eldrazi creature! Ulamog being Indestructible is gonna help Eldrazi become competitive. Can we say "goodbye Darkstee Collosus? (Although you can't Tinker Ulamog, so Darksteel still has his uses in certain formats)
As for Sarkhan... really unusual Planewalker! He's gonna be a bomb in limited, but I'm not sure about constructed. Turning your creatures into dragons is pretty cool, though. ^_~

Here's a few reasons:
John 3:16 John 8:12 1 Peter 2:24 James 1:12-13
Hebrews 13:8 Ephesians 6:10-17 Psalm 86:8-10
Well sarkon is terrible cause baneslayer is in standard and the other guy is ok but id rather play the other 2 for the 3 or 4 more mana they cost.
you do realize that argument is used for EVERY THING (along with path argument) these days. he is nuts he can draw cards in RB and can turn useless creatures into 5/5 dragons thats nuts! i mean brood mate dragon sees play and its in standard with banslayer... also i have not seen a banslayer in like 2 months at any standard event i have been in. Sarkahn the Mad will more than likely see play. also that enchantment is nuts!!
In what universe? If you build a deck like that, and ever draw that hand, I will personally come to wherever you live, perform complicated acts of awestruck ********, then disembowel myself to escape the world that allowed something like this to occur and validate you.
Sarkhan is gonna be pretty nuts, only in casual though. He is a bit restrictive to see competitive play. While he can draw for you, Jace does it better, and he give card disadvantage to use his second ability. Why make a 5/5 dragon when you can play Broodmate for 1 mana more and get another dude?
or why not change one of your 1/1 goblins from siege gang commander, into a 5/5?

Sarkhan... you've gone MAD! To be honest he requires you do a bit of thinking.
What thinking you ask?
Do you really want to damage him? Do you really want to cast his ultimate? How many creatures of your are you going to sacrifice? If you can get away with land drops, how long will he last?
He isn't made to last like a normal walker and I actually like this. You have payed 5 mana for this walker, so use his loyalty to the best of your advantage and not the worst.
As for Ulamog it's not really something to scoff at if something is INDESTRUCTIBLE and KEEP IN MIND PATH TO EXILE ROTATES with SoM.
Bear Umbra is ridic! Play it on a 3cmc creature and you just got a free spell! I thought Treachery and its ilk were frowned upon. Not to mention that this creature just keeps doing it.
Mmmm, Sark is sexy! I like that card, my dragon deck will love him more!
Also: Ulamog, you make me drool with timmyness.
Totem armor still bites, but the ability is killer.

"The difference between MTG and science is that one has people dressed up in silly clothes, using words you can't understand and doing potentially quite dangerous stuff while the other has people dressed up in silly clothes, using words you can't understand and doing potentially quite dangerous stuff while playing cards."

Ummmm... Sarkhan is awesome. At 5, he turns any random dude into a 5/5 dragon... for 5 mana. 5 mana flying 5/5's are good and he'll still have 5 loyalty counters. If you don't have a dude, oh well, just dark confidant because we all know that's terrible. He also kills eldrazi dead. He'll see play. If not in current standard, defintely block.
And that totem armor is pretty good. Play it, swing, untap, do more stuff. Has potential.
Sarkhan might be OK. Play him turn 5, make a Dragon, and drop Broodmate turn 6. Use his "ultimate" and deal 13, then attack with the Dragon. Not bad. But what could he replace? Maybe he could be a one-of, but I wouldn't really see him changing anything as far as Jund goes.
Bear Umbra also seems OK. I guess he can be played on turn 5+ to untap any CIPT lands, if need be. Or, it can be played on the same turn as a BBE. Now that's getting kinda crazy.
Methinks you need to reread Sharkan. He trumps BSA all day long.
Ehhh, not really. For 5 mana and -2 loyalty, he turns BSA from a 5/5 lifelink flyer into a 5/5 flyer. Doesn't exactly eliminate the threat. Chandra is a better BSA-killing 5-mana planeswalker.
I like sarkhan's set of abilities, just really disappointed that you can't reasonably expect to use them all. And you can't even play the -2 twice and have enough left to play the ultimate. I like that wotc is going in new directions with its PW abilities, but maybe they should have stuck with just one of the two new innovations ("0 ability that damages his loyalty as part of its effect" vs. "high starting loyalty and no plus abilities").
Bear umbra feels underwhelming compared to the simple +3/+3 for 3 armor. Or am I really underrating the "untap all lands when attacking" ability? Would anyone pay 3GG for a 2/2 with that? (That seems to be the fair totem armor trade-off; we have a +3/+3 armor for 2G and that's the going rate for 3/3s these days, and white got a +1/+1 armor with first strike that is on par with Tundra Wolves.)
Ulamog...uh, yup, he's another eldrazi, and yup, the more we see of them the more they reduce each other's specialness and impact. Quite frankly a bunch of really expensive, really large fatties with very similar abilities is pretty boring. "Ulamog" is a cool name though.

well to make a only - ability planeswalker, you actually need a 0 cost ability, otherwise eventually the card does nothing.. especially when you have odd starting loyalty and even costing abilities. He was basically meant to come down make a dragon, deal the damage and then draw something to finish him off.
Sarkhan looks really really good. I can see a Grixis Planeswalker control deck...first you Brainstorm off Jace, then put 2 land on top of your deck, then use Sarkhan's +0 ability...oh look, I wonder what it is! Cards like Oracle of Mul Daya and Halimar Depths are good with Sarkhan too, and that's only the Standard options! Maybe Selective Memory has a new best friend! Or maybe not! But here's hoping someone does something awesome with this new Sarkhan.
Ulamog, on the other hand, looks terrible. 11/11 for 11? Bo-ring. Vindicate? Honestly? I'd rather have a Power (as in Power 9) card than a Desert Twister, thanks. And Indestructible? As if Path to Exile weren't being played enough already. I'm calling jank on this one, folks.
The Umbra looks sweet in EDH. Outside of that, I'm not sure what to say. It seems like it might fit in a deck with Omnath...before combat tap all your mana to float through Omnath, then attack, untap, and cast Kozilek? Seems neat. Not sure if it's viable, but it seems awesome.
