He is going to be so buff But he is going to cost as much as Sarkhan Vol
($30 when he came out) or even more. Im estimating 30-40 when he comes out then he will drop. As far as I know there are no other planeswalkers being printed but that could change when the offical set list comes out.
The Orb confirms no more Planewalkers (I feel like a broken record saying "The Orb confirms ______")......anyway, yeah I agree with you about pricing. The novelty will wear off eventually, but it could last a lot longer than Sarkhan (considering how iconic he is)

I hope I get him. I am going to try to grab him at the prerelease eather in a pack or trade. My goal is to turn my Red/Blue flying deck into a grixis deck with Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, Malfegor, Blood Tyrant and Sedris, The Traitor King as the base of the deck.
I guess we will get have to wait to see how this all turns out.
I hate the casting cost, 8 mana for a planeswalker ought to win me the game, which it will not do. Also the youtube thing was blurry but it didn't look like any part of the picture was sticking out into the frame... Every planeswalker I've ever seen has some part of the picture sticking out of the frame. I think that alone makes it a little suspicious as to whether that is a real card or if somebody photoshopped a tips and tricks card.

The art has been confirmed/spoiled by Wizards themselves for quite some time. Why are you acting suspicious on this?

It's not the art that has me suspicious, it's the lack of the art leaking into the frame, pull out your planeswalker cards and tell me if you can find a single one that doesn't overlap the frame on some part. I know the artwork is right and I suspect the abilities are right as well, it's the card in the video I'm calling into question.
EDIT: After looking at it some more I think Wizards just did a quick mock up for the tips and tricks card, I still think the real one will have some sort of overlap into the frame, all of the others do
QFT.
The wait just killed it. Maybe my expectations were set too high...:-/ actually, my only complaints are his low starting loyalty (so a young kid who can't ever control her powers beat you to the punch, eh?) and... I thought he had more than 3 abilities. Also, they choose the "testicles" (Bolas, in Spanish and Portuguese... and I'm sure other languages as well) clause... Skip this one, please.
I usually don't complain about ANYTHING, but Conflux's getting me whining for the first time. I probably won't even play it... only time will tell. I'll try and give it a chance.;)
I tend to think of loyalty as how loyal a planeswalker is to you. If you're getting them beat up, they lose loyalty and leave. They don't stick around to die. Chandra's starting loyalty is higher because she is inexperienced, she takes what she sees as an opportunity to have a mentor. Bolas should have LESS starting loyalty in my opinion. You are beneath him, yet you bind him to your will? He will crush you.

The right wing does actually overlap the frame a bit...look carefully
Lol if Bolas will only go down by 20-30% I wont buy any.
Just happened to see a chinese presale 200$ (fixed price) for a playset, some days ago!!!!! Are they crazy?!?!
Right now it´s seems 4x NB, PW are going for around 70 bucks, far too much but well...
He'll likely price higher than Sarkhan Vol did, I won't be shocked if he tops out at $50 each
i've waited this long to see a planewalker version of NB, just to see this crap? ugh, i'm disappointed. I'd rather play Chandra if I wanted to actually cripple an opponent within a decent time frame in the game.
too all the haters out there...REALLY!!!!!!! Your going to complain about this...he is amazing, sure he costs alot, but that makes him worth it. He is perfectly viable, and far superior to chandra. Think outside of the box!!!!
I'm sorry if I missed if someone mentioned this, but doesn't 'Destroy target noncreature permanent' mean that Nicol Bolas eats other Planeswalkers for breakfast? I really like his synergy.
If you have something that's not a creature out to kill my planeswalker, I will eat it.
If you have something that's a creature out to kill my planeswalker, I will steal it.
If you do not kill my planeswalker in 2 turns, I will eat your field, eat your soul, and eat your hand.
Since most decks running Bolas will be running blue, you'll have control. It seems like once you get him to hit the field (Not too hard to do if you think about it.) Bolas makes the end imminent.
Just a warning to those of you out there who would enrich the community with spoilers:

We have taken further action elsewhere to address the source of the stolen materials. Regardless, by your own admission you knew the card was not released yet. That does not mean it's okay to spoil; it means you filmed yourself in possession of stolen material. I have done what I can be reducing the sentence from 5 years.

Yep. You read that correctly. I just got banned for three years for posting a video of a tip card. Apparently the cards I heard of - and thus the tip card - were stolen from a wotc facility. I didn't know this, I figured they had been sold to a player by a shady distributor - seeing as it was only a few weeks prior to the prerelease.
In any case, I warn you all - don't touch cards before the release, because this could happen to you.
Wow that really sucks man.
I had no Idea that there were such penalties for such things. Do you think they would act like this if you spoiled a different card or was it just to keep bolas under wraps? Anyway we should definitely keep this in mind.

ACTUALLY, you got banned for dissemination of privileged information or something similar. A store owner here got tagged for the same thing.
That's where the rumor mill walks a thin line...like, all of this information before the release event, you're not supposed to have. They just don't seem to bother with it most of the time unless you are actively showing off actual cards, which takes it a little too far. Like really, use common sense people.

This is probably the worst signature in the history of signatures.
I took about a 5 year break between mirrodin and lorwyn, so I completely missed the rancored elf fiasco. I wish I had seen that before showing off that tip card. Hindsight, and all.

EVERYONE ELSE!
DON"T FILM YOURSELF WITH NEW CARDS! you never know where they r coming from.
Plus: You filmed yourself, man. Not smart.
