Makes sense for Gruul, I suppose... but your back story is kind of silly, why post if it would get you fired? Either way, this is plausible, but I'll wait for R_E's judgement.
First post, implausible story (why would he risk his job to post a card for us to speculate on... much less a mediocre one?), and as mentioned... mediocre card.
But with my luck it'll be true and I'll have to print out this page and eat it.
Actually, this doesn't break bloodthirst. You would ahve to cast 2 creatures in one turn to get the 2nd one blood thirsted. The source seems dubious, and I think it is a fake for now. I could be wrong though, and woudln't be suprised if I was.
His story is plausable, basicly there isn't a way to trace him if he just dosen't give a story, he could work any number of places, R&D, a magazine, an advertising compony, any number of things. But if he says "I had to do an ad for a magazine compony, and here is the card art", which would be very tracable to him.
The card makes alot of since with bloodthirst, dosen't break it becuase it costs 3 mana, and and not a very useful card on its own, not broken, but not bad with bloodthirst.
I say there is a less then 50, but still good, chance of this being real. So I call fake, but I woulden't be surprised if its real (Mainly I call fake based on the fact that he posted it, then logged off). and if its the same guy as the drake RE can tell by the IP.

I don't think so. Bloodthirst is
Bloodthirst 2 (If another player was dealt damage this turn, this creature comes into play with 2 +1/+1 counters on it.)
Comes into play occurs after you play the card. So you play a dude, it pings, then the guy comes into play, sees that a guy was dealt damage, and gets some +1/+1 counters.
I doubt it. This more or less breaks Bloodthirst in two, and takes out the whole interesting aspect. It shouldn't be an automatic thing.
Don't forget about the red honden though, that card is basically a bloodthirst enabler. However, this "rumor" is probably bunk, when was the last time someone trusted a first-timer?
BTW, I haven't seen you, Musteval, since I stopped posting on Misetings, your Avator brought back some memories.
The power level of this card actually seems reasonable for a reprint. It costs 2R, so it isn't helping your bloodthirst creatures until turn 4. While we haven't seen many creatures yet, bloodthirst is a great mechanic for weenie/aggro decks. This card may not be very helpful for that strategy.
First off, even as a first thread, making it possibly fake (most likely), I doubt I'd post an uncommon (even a "power uncommon") if I could lose my job. I'd rather slip something good that people wouldn't believe (but was true.)
Now, as for the card, if it does exist in GP, then this is great. It's the best enabler of Bloodthirt that I've seen so far. Epsecially since I've been riding around boasting that the Gruul are supposed to be 3/4 - 5/6 casting cost creatures (a slow guild.) I've posted twice on it now, and I really think they are... but anyways, against Blue, this makes it so you can drop a Bloodthirster on Xth turn, where X is the casting cost of the critter without having to have any creature in play (which would have attacked already), or having to shock something first (obviously then making the Creature basically cost + R mana.)
The card is still rather weak, but I guess it would work. Yeah, they have Red Honden, but it's legendary, and this you can have multiples (since if the critter is countered, this still Triggers to shoot something.)

I agree that it is rather weak to risk a job on.

Furious Assault is a card in Masques. Since we know there are only two reprints in GP, and this isn't one of them, this is bologna. Four day old, warm, low-grade bologna. The kind with little bits of animal bones and teeth in it.
2R
Enchantment
Whenever you play a creature spell, Furious Assault deals 1 damage to target player.
Please don't ask me where I got this info. It's rather hard to feed your kids when you're fired.

Xenolith: Man Mage and Machine. Good reading. READ IT.
Laughter is the greatest medicine. Er, unless you've been shot. Then I guess painkillers would be better.
The tokens do nothing (its whenever you PLAY a creature) so yeah... I would love it otherwise as I love throwin a bunch of tokens in at a time

True, true. And they're both in Standard, at that. Please ignore my above posts.
