Pretty sure this is Mother of Runes. The two artworks have the older woman in a library setting. Plus, she seems to be casting some kind of rune-like effect. Yeah, her clothes are dark, but so are the original Mother's clothes. Just because the rune is blue doesn't mean the card is blue.
Also, look at the artwork for Force of Will. What about that artwork looks remotely blue? (spoiler: nothing)
Also, I guess they really are printing "FTV: Tournament Staples". Cool? I mean, cool, if you're willing to spend $200 at a LGS (or are fortunate enough to get it at missurp).

I'm speculating that the spoiled art is Control Magic. We were told to take notice of the skull in the background, which could be an homage to the skull in the original Control Magic art. In addition, the blue eyes and ring on her forehead leave me with the impression that she's trying to control something or someone with her magic. Just my two cents. I suppose there's a chance this could be Counterspell based on her hand position, although I doubt it's Force of Will; I imagine the casting would look much more strenuous if that were the case.

love when people are wrong.
FoWs art was originally commisioned for a red card.
And alot of places do sell for msrp.
I got 3 realms for msrp. On release.
So is there a reason that Wizards don't do more to enforce MRSP?
The danger of acronyms is that over time they supplant the original idea they're abbreviating in the first place, and become the very idea itself- sometimes losing something along the way.
MSRP is a great example, since the 'S' stands for suggested, and a suggestion is not something you enforce.

Regardless of how much people like to point that out, something needs to be done on Wizard's part, whether it's to stop the "extremely limited print run" nonsense or doing what they have to in order to get more retailers to fall in line closer to the MSRP. Instead of being smug for pointing out the MSRP, people should be outraged that they will always have such a difficult time getting cards that were put in products meant to circulate more of cards that are already difficult to obtain or that demand a high dollar value solely because of the secondary market. The players are the ones who are punished by price gouging; Not Wizards, and not the card shops.
What's even worse is how much packs of Modern Masters may end up being a piece. They're already at about $7 MSRP per pack, now. By the time the entire set is spoiled, stores could charge $15-$20 each for those, if not more.
WotC stated that this product would commemorate the twentieth anniversary of M:tG, but, surely, it shall not be the only commemoration for the game's twentieth anniversary?

I'm predicting we will almost certainly see Rishadan Port and Counterspell. Possibly Cranial Plating or Glimmervoid (looks great in foil) or who knows maybe even Chrome Mox (obligatory money card/mox that hasn't had a reprint in a while), Psychatog is likely, Duress is safe and Wizards loves to print it, and possibly a Wrath of God. Highly doubt we'll see Land Tax. It's more likely to see Mishra's Factory instead. The 1999 deck is the hard one to pinpoint because they've already reprinted several of these in other FTV sets. I'm guessing they will go with Wildfire here so the red players get something. Still doubt that they will reprint Force of Will, but they do have new art from the championship version already, and it's never been on a normal sized paper card. However that said it's highly unlikely and if such a thing did get printed it's more likely to be a judge gift...
edit: control magic for the spoiled art also sounds plausible.
I don't understand why people are thinking WOTC would print Mystical Tutor in yet another FtV set, this is ridiculous.
I agree it has the potential of being used on a reprint of Force of Will, but if so, it would be really weird considering there is an alternate art for FoW that was never used on a printed card before.
one thing to note though is that the set symbol is just blunt and ugly. other than that, I'm super excited
Unrealistic prediction: A card from each world champion decklist. Liberties taken in 1993 and 2012 considering there was either no event (1993) or the winner did not have a top standard deck (2012).
1993- Control Magic
1994- Old Man of the Sea
1995- Mind Twist
1996- Kjeldoran Outpost
1997- Undiscovered Paradise

1999- Cursed Scroll
2000- Rishadan Port
2001- Skizzik
2002- Psychatog
2003- Exalted Angel
2004- Decree of Justice
2005- Umezawa's Jitte
2006- Dragonstorm
2007- Tarmogoyf
2008- Bitterblossom
2009- Bloodbraid Elf
2010- Jace the Mind Sculptor
2011- Green Sun's Zenith

Personally, what I think the most likely possibilities are:
1994: Winter Orb, Stasis, Control Magic
1995: Hymn to Tourach, Hypnotic Specter, The Rack
1996: Armageddon, Swords to Plowshares
1997: Man-O'-War, Nekrataal, Gemstone Mine, City of Brass
1998: Tradewind Rider, Birds of Paradise, Scroll Rack
1999: Wildfire
2000: Brainstorm, Thran Dynamo, Phyrexian Processor
2001: Crypt Angel, Blazing Specter
2002: Cunning Wish, Psychatog, Upheaval
2003: Wrath of God, Decree of Justice
2004: Eternal Dragon, Eternal Witness
2005: Glare of Subdual, Loxodon Hierarch, Yosei, the Morning Star, Umezawa's Jitte
2006: Dragonstorm, Bogardan Hellkite, Remand
2007: Ohran Viper, Doran, the Siege Tower, Thoughtseize
2008: Vendilion Clique, Cryptic Command, Bitterblossom
2009: Baneslayer Angel, Ranger of Eos, Noble Hierarch
2010: Stoneforge Mystic, Jace, the Mind Sculptor
2011: Primeval Titan
2012: Snapcaster Mage, Geist of Saint Traft, Deathrite Shaman
2013: Boros Reckoner, Sphinx's Revelation
If I had to say a final 20, it would be
Control Magic (The revealed art)
Hymn to Tourach
Armageddon
Man-O'-War
Tradewind Rider
Wildfire
Thran Dynamo
Crypt Angel
Upheaval
Decree of Justice
Eternal Dragon
Umezawa's Jitte
Remand
Ohran Viper
Bitterblossom
Baneslayer Angel
Stoneforge Mystic
Primeval Titan
Snapcaster Mage
Boros Reckoner
That would make the price not go up to an insane level, but there would be plenty of demand for it nonetheless.
For what it's worth, the opposite of evergreen is "deciduous" so I suggest we start using that from now on to refer to shroud, banding, islandhome, etc.
Why is everyone SO focused on the skull? Have you guys seen WOTC's art descriptions for artists? The skull could have simply been flair added by the artist!
Wizards of the coast has been very into top down design lately and though this card is not "new" the art is and i feel if it were mother of runes "runes" themselves would be incorporated (more so than just books) or even her gifting protection to another. having just her looking ominously at you doesn't make me feel like I'm about to get protection from anything. though the blue color doesn't necessarily mean its blue i still feel the woman here to be a wizard so likely to be blue as blue is best at this kind of thing. my vote is for control magic. beguiler of wills has an comparable look and art action to it. though i would doubt the reprint of Mana Drain it is possible guys no one has said they can't print it and no one said they wouldn't reprint it as some promo of some sort though R&D said they would rather be hit by a bus than reprint it in a regular release magic set. further more i highly doubt they will reprint cards in this set that have been printed in previous FTV sets. such as Tinker, mystical tutor etc. i suppose it is possible but in my own mind i would like to rule those out to narrow down the options.
I'm desperately looking for the place that says World Champs decks only, but I'm not seeing that

Also :
It would still be worth more than MSRP.
Both have a row of books. Both also have the skull.
Mother of Runes has none of this.
