Excited for the Fyndhorn Elves (YES! Now I don't need a foil Elvish Mystic to replace them :p), Hymn to Tourach, and JtMS (spending $200 for a foil Jace instead of $1k? my wallet thanks you)....like a cube-pimpers dream
Well, I was super excited until the end (#14 to be exact, sans JTMS). So pumped I forgot these are going to be in the FTV foiling which is so sub-par. Oh well. I love the fact that I managed to snag one for MSRP, and will now have a foil Fact or Fiction, and Green Sun's Zenith. I'm totally stoked about that!:D
Could care less about Kessig Wolf Run, but it makes sense, that was a big card for that year, and I may run it in the future as well!

I feel its a very good set. All the cards in it are staples in a variety of formats. Dark Ritual and Fyndhorn Elves seem a bit underwhelming though...I know they are iconic cards but the comparative power level to the rest of the cards in the set seem low.

Kinda meh after what had already been spoiled, but that's how it always goes. Very happy about foil swords with that art, much better than the judge promo.
Expect Hymn/Elves to gain in price. Ritual... probably too many copies in circulation already and it has been foiled before. Dynamo will spike for EDH most likely.
I'd be more excited if it weren't for that FtV foiling. It's just not sexy.
My only problem with the FTV foiling is the streaky glare that comes off the card, and the lack of depth that normal foils have. Otherwise they are decent looking, but overall not as nice as regular foils in my opinion. However with cards that have not been foiled previously either art or card it is nice to have those options appear.
I'm quite mad because I was hoping this FTV would have some stuff I wanted to get, and it does. But ****ing walletsculptor makes the secondary market go NOPE NOPE NOPE MINDSCULPTOR FOIL MEANS COSTING ARM AND LEGS.

dark rit underwhelming?? it IS the greatest non artifact mana spell ever.
just wish they used the alpha art though. also imo wall of blossoms best art in this set, though very happy with terese nielsen's swords art
Anyone else find it odd (and disappointing) that it has Impulse AND FoF, and Thran Dynamo AND Gilded Lotus? Of all the cards you could use to represent magic's history, even limited to those years, it bugs me that they went with similar pairs that serve such the same roles (even if they did so in different decks under very different circumstances).
The Wall of Blossoms artwork is beautiful! Otherwise, I'm underwhelmed and like everyone else will trade for what I want. At this point I want the elf more than any other card.

The Swords and Hymn are pretty huge as well.

GPolukranos, Kill ALL the Things!G
It's a shame there's only a six-week window (or so) to use that awesome new foil Kessig Wolf Run before it rotates.
It's been big since. It will continue being a Standard staple until rotation, too.

That list hurts me.

Same, though Venser, Hymn, and swords will also add plenty of value. I expect to triple my money in about a year or so.

Always the option to buy the cards individually.

I might have chosen Psychatog over Edict since that card was the deck's namesake.
I don't really mind the other choices.
