If you control Ashaya and a "[n]ontoken creatur[e]" enters the battlefield under your control, abilities of permanents you control that say "Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, ..." will trigger. That's because to determine whether those abilities trigger, they will look at the state of the game immediately after the event of the creature entering the battlefield, so that they will see the creature as a "lan[d] in addition to [its] other types" from the first moment that creature is on the battlefield (C.R. 603.10, 603.6a-b). See also this thread.
Note that the landfall ability word, like all ability words, has no game mechanics inherent to it (C.R. 207.2c).
Note also that abilities are not the same as state-based actions (compare C.R. 113.1 with C.R. 705.1).

Thank you. I had figured it was a state-based action; but wanted to be sure. I didn't want to build a Commander deck just to find out I was wrong. Now the shenanigans that can be done are coming to mind, like Zuran Orb and Darksteel Garrison, etc...
Here's a follow up question: if an an aura that states "Aura - Land" is on a creature or a land-specific equipment (the Garrison in this example) is equipped to a creature that is a also a forest while Ashaya is in play, what happens when she leaves play? Will the auras and equipments "fall off" (so to speak) when she leaves play because he static ability is no longer keeping them with the land type?
In general, when Ashaya leaves the battlefield, then as a state-based action, each Aura attached to a permanent may or may not remain attached to that permanent depending on what it can enchant (C.R. 704.5m). For example, if a creature that was a land solely due to Ashaya—
has Annex or Squirrel Nest attached to it, Annex or Squirrel Nest, respectively, will go to the graveyard as a state-based action, since it says "enchant land" (C.R. 704.5m, 303.4).
has Brink of Disaster attached to it, Brink of Disaster will stay attached to that creature, since it says "enchant creature or land".
Also, each Fortification attached to a permanent that's no longer a land will become unattached to that permanent (and remain on the battlefield) as a state-based action (C.R. 704.5n, 301.6). (Note that a Fortification is not necessarily an Equipment [review C.R. 205.3g].)
Thanks... a Commander deck is on the line for this question
