It may hard to give a definite answer since the set isn't released and there's no official rulings as of yet that I'm aware of. If I cast Rite of Replication for the kicker cost and I used Primal Wellspring for all 9 of the mana I paid into it, would I get an extra copy for the kicker cost as well, resulting in 5 extra instances of Rite of Replication?
No need to wait for the set to be released as this is an interaction that has been seen already.
Whenever you copy a spell you copy if it was kicked or not.
Relevant rule:
706.10. To copy a spell, activated ability, or triggered ability means to put a copy of it onto the stack; a copy of a spell isn’t cast and a copy of an activated ability isn’t activated. A copy of a spell or ability copies both the characteristics of the spell or ability and all decisions made for it, including modes, targets, the value of X, and additional or alternative costs. (See rule 601, “Casting Spells.”) Choices that are normally made on resolution are not copied. If an effect of the copy refers to objects used to pay its costs, it uses the objects used to pay the costs of the original spell or ability. A copy of a spell is owned by the player under whose control it was put on the stack. A copy of a spell or ability is controlled by the player under whose control it was put on the stack. A copy of a spell is itself a spell, even though it has no spell card associated with it. A copy of an ability is itself an ability.
So if you use Primal Wellspring to help pay for a kicked Rite of Replication, then you will create a copy of Rites of Replication that is also kicked. You don't get five extra instances of Rite of Replication, there is only the two copies of the spell.
But overall in the end you will create five tokens from the copied Rite and five tokens from the original Rite.

Hope that makes sense and helps.
I understand that about the kicker cost being copied. But I'm saying, if I pay the ENTIRE cost with 9 different copies of Primal Wellspring, it should copy for each copy since they all have that ability. The question I was asking is, I should get 4 copies regardless for using that land to cast it. But would I copy the spell a 5 additional times for paying the kicker cost with that land, or does that only count if you pay its base mana cost with that land?
Primal Wellspring's effect only cares about whether you used the mana to pay for an instant or sorcery, not about whether you used the mana specifically to pay for the base mana cost versus an additional cost to cast the spell. In your example you used all 9 Wellspring mana to pay to cast Rite, so each Wellspring will trigger and make a copy of the spell.
