So if I enchant a Legendary with an Enter's the Battlefield ability with Mirror Mockery and attack with it, the new copy comes in and triggers then the game see's Legend Rule violation and forced me to sacrifice one of them (The token every time), The ETB triggers right?
If yes, then Sidisi, Undead Vizier with Mirror Mockery attacks and spawns a copy of himself, the copy comes in a triggers to sacrifice itself. Is that possible or would it die to the Legend Rule beforehand?
You DO get the ETB triggers, but you will have to put one of the two into the graveyard for the Legendary uniqueness rule before the ability can even go on the stack.
So no, you will not be able to sacrifice the token to its own ETB trigger.
I'm not sure about this but I think the legend rule is part of state based actions and therefore will be checked upon the resolution of the spell before the trigger is able to resolve. So short answer; no. I could be wrong about that, but I think that's how it would work.
Thanks I also forgot about Card tags I think it's like this Sidisi, Undead Vizier. So because the trigger goes on the stack then the state based action occurs, the creature dies before it can sacrifice itself. I think I got that straight. Meaning Sidisi, Brood Tyrant (The Token version) would mill 3 but because the copy won't be on the battlefield when the second ability to make tokens triggers due to Legendary Rule the second copy won't make any tokens because it wasn't on board to see the Mill happen. That sounds right thanks a lot you guys my brewing mind is at work.
Sidisi, Brood Tyrant however mills 3 and then 3, Generating 2 zombies each for the first 3 cards milled, and 1 zombie each for the second 3 cards milled. This is because you can put the original Sidisi, Brood Tyrant's ability on the stack and THEN the Mirror Mockery "Enters the Battlefield" effect on the stack - both are triggered at the same time.
Legend rule is checked whenever a player would recieve priority, and no one gets priority as the stack resolves.
When it is time for the copy's ability to go to the stack however, the legend rule is checked first; and the copy is rendered non existent. The second mill 3 will occur - and see only the original Sidisi, Brood Tyrant
Priority doesn't happen when a single stack is finished resolving, but after each spell on the stack resolves priority passes between the players starting with the turn player. Meaning after each ability resolves you would do state based actions and remove the second Sidisi, Brood Tyrant from the battlefield. It does not matter how you stack the triggers:
Mirror Mockery resolves, creating a token of Sidisi, Brood Tyrant.
State Based Actions sacrifice it.
Turn Player puts Sidisi (Token)'s ability on the stack, then resolves it and mills 3 card.
Sidisi's attack trigger resolves milling 3 cards.
Sidisi's attack trigger resolves milling 3 cards.
Mirror Mockery resolves, creating a token of Sidisi.
State Based Actions sacrifice it.
Sidisi (token)'s ability is put on the (now empty) stack, and resolves milling 3 cards.
Note: Whenever I said 'milling 3 cards' there's the possibility after that resolves of adding Sidisi's second ability onto the stack if the trigger condition is met, which would happen after you resolve Sidisi's mill effect, but before you move to the next item in the stack.
You require a token that no longer exists as a "state based action" and game definition to be able to have something go on the stack. This does not work in the English language.
As a copy This card ability, Mirror Mockery ability cannot be considered to have resolved until any "whenever (copy) enters the battlefield effects" resolve.
So if Mirror Mockery Generates a token-copy of Sidisi, Undead Vizier and i sacrifice it to the state-based action, will i still get the tokens EtB ability resolved by sacrificing a third creature (or the original Sidisi if there is no third creature worth sacrificing).
To begin with, you do not sacrifice Sidisi due to the legendary rule. You simply put it into the graveyard.
And you get the tokens etb-ability and get to resolve it (which is simply a sac-outlet). But by the time it resolves the token will no longer be on the battlefield and can therefore not trigger the effect of exploiting a creature.
