In response to Cloudform's Manifest-making-and-attaching trigger (please notify me if Cloudform's Manifest maker and Cloudform attacher are actually separate triggered abilities instead of what I'm thinking), my opponent resolves Containment Priest. I proceed to exile the top card of my library, correct? And, if so, do I exile it face-up or face-down?
Yeah, it does get exiled, and it is face-up. By default, exile is face-up, so unless an effect specifically said to exile it face-down, then it is face-up.
Yes, it would be exiled face up. Herein lies an exploitable loophole you could exploit for manifest decks, i.e. flicker effects Triad of Fates allowing you to exile a manifest, and retturn it face up to play at low to negligible mana cost. Fun times
