Generator Servant 1R
Creature - Elemental
Tap, Sacrifice Generator Servant: Add 2 to your mana pool. If that mana is spent on a creature spell, it gains haste until end of turn.
2/1
From the get go its obvious that you can use the 2 colorless made by this to spend on a creature spell and give that very creature haste.
Question is: Can I split that mana between two creatures spells so they both have haste?
Here are some rules i m throwing that answers people that are creating a big BOO WotC RULES on this card:
106.6. Some spells or abilities that produce mana restrict how that mana can be spent, or have an additional effect that affects the spell or ability that mana is spent on. This doesnt affect the manas type. #
111.4.If an effect changes any characteristics of a permanent spell, the effect continues to apply to the permanent when the spell resolves. See rule 400.7. #
Example: If an effect changes a black creature spell to white, the creature is white when it enters the battlefield and remains white for the duration of the effect changing its color.
You can slip that mana on the mana pool ...
all the 1 you can get from Canadian Robot/Elemental have the effect ( by 106.6) and the template on the haste part is right (by 111.4)
It does indeed help, thank you very much. Better in a place that is easier to see and more quickly to reference than trying to hunt for the information five-six pages in a thread.
Yes it can work like that. Just like any other effect that makes more than one mana, Generator Servant doesn't make a blob of 2 that all has to be spent in one place. You have complete freedom over how you spend the mana currently in your mana pool, and each point of mana is distinct from every other one.
