Browsing through the spoiler I noticed the card Sudden Storm. What interests me is the use of the phrase "during their controllers' next untap steps"
Now you may remember this gem from invasion, Tangle, which used the same text with the plural "steps" but received errata later to specify it means only the next untap "step".
So, does this card mean all next untap steps?
Or does it have to do with the use of the plural "controllers' " versus the singular "controller's"?

Your last thought is right - it's just an English grammar issue. Tangle uses the singular "each creature" and "its controller", but Sudden Storm uses the plural "those creatures" and "their controllers". Tangle's printed text was rewritten to clarify that it only affects a specific set of objects as it resolves, rather than setting up a new game rule as it resolves.
The use of the word " controllers' " is key here. The use of the word "steps" means that this will work against multiple players, but only one untap step each.
