I've been waiting for a cheaper Conspiracy for ages, and we've finally got it in Arcane Adaptation from the Ixalan leak.
Arcane Adaptation 2U
Enchantment
As ~ etb, choose a creature type.
Creatures you control are the chosen type in addition to their other types. The same is true for creature spells you control and creature cards you own that aren't on the battlefield.
I've mainly been waiting because it enables a few combos that were too hard to set up with Conspiracy costing 5.
Some notable ones:
Arcane Adaptation:
> (samurai) + Kentaro, the Smiling Cat = Pay (X) for all creature spells.
> (any) + Call to the Kindred = Always cast a creature from the top 5 for free every turn.
> (myr) + Myr Turbine + Tap 5 creatures = Etb any creature from your deck for free.
> (soldier) + Preeminent Captain = Etb-attacking any creature from your hand when it attacks.
> (dragon) + Sarkhan Unbroken (ultimate) = Etb all creatures in your deck.
> (dragon) + Dragon Tempest = Each of your creatures that etb can deal X damage, where X = # of creatures you control. Includes tokens.
> (zombie) + Rooftop Storm = Cast any creature for 0.
It's really hard to search for tribal effects, there's many forms and wildcards only go so far.
I don't expect any of these to break anything, but I'm guessing wotc is printing this now because they want tribal support to be easily achieved.
Thank you, I was a little surprised that this wasn't mentioned already. Temur allies is a lot easier on the manabase than 5c and adaption/Ranger/God Of The Forge is a lovely t2-3-4 sequence if there's a dork on T1
just UB zombies in Standard, and in modern and EDH we always had acess to the blue conspiracy from New Phyrexia.
Will UB zombies be a thing post rotation? Remember when XLN is legal SOI rotates out. It's a shame we are getting Merfolk tribal support right when BFZ's merfolk go away - and more white vampire support right when all the White/Black vampires in OGW go away. Really annoying timing.

Rose tint my world, keep me safe from my trouble and pain.
The ranger combo is actually a fairly easy set up in modern. I wonder what the rest of the deck would look like.
Is it worth going in on any other allys and just running an otherwise solid deck? Or id this a combo that fits into a control shell. I'd lean allys, especially with the ability to surprise an opponent if they're expecting a fair creature deck.

It would probably be Bant Allies. U/G is given from the combo colours and white has by far the best allies, while also offering good sideboard options and solid problem solvers like Path to Exile. At the very minimum I imagine the deck would run Harabaz Druid, to ramp into Turntimber Ranger, and Jwari Shapeshifter for redundancy.
Halimar Excavator could be an early blocker that makes the combo instantly kill. Because infinite 2/2 wolves without haste don't actually win on the spot. Ondu Cleric would help you stay alive and give you infinite life once you go off.

Get any creature you want back from the grave plus a cast trigger if the creature has it.
Mana Echoes + Arcane Adaption (any creature type)
Sensation Gorger + Arcane Adaption (goblin/shaman)
Leaf-Crowned Elder + Arcane Adaption (treefolk/shaman)

Choose demon, use a bunch of Shadowborn Apostle to bring Angel of Glory's Rise to the battefield, bring all Shadowborn Apostle back. Repeat. Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker can be another option. With Rotlung Reanimator This could be a giant army. Edgewalker Would be nice to put the Apostles in play for free. Sure Angel of Glory's Rise would be good in any self mill deck with Arcane Adaptation
Some other cards that are good in any tribal:

Lord of the Accursed is decent with a +1/+1 buff and activate Menace.
Probably not, especially as Kikki-Jikki, Mirror Breaker grants haste and removes the need for green. But Ranger wins you style points?
It naturally fits into a more aggressive deck with a solid beatdown plan. Beatdown with a combo in your back pocket has been very succesful before.

Sliver Overlord lets you pay 3 to search any creature if you choose Sliver.
EDIT: I see Overlord has been mentioned already.
