Thus far this cards is the only card that attracts me, especially thinking about following it up with Verdurous Gearhulk and swinging for 18! (4 counters to Samut, 7 power with doublestrike=14+4 from Gearhulk)
I'll post a hypothetical standard list later but how do you see this card being used in standard going forward?
Rhonas's Monument is very good here. Cuts their cost down by (1). Also gives a +2/+2 trample boost when playing a creature spell.

In Xmas land that +2/2 would go to Samut and add another 4 damage, for a total of 22, plus TRAMPLE, not having to worry about getting chump blocked. Nice!
While in the process of coming up with a list I thought of Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and walking ballista as good stand alone cards that have synergy with one another and also add damage to the Samut strike.
Could naya be a thing again with two top heavy threats

what are you proposing? I think to add white just to make use of Samut last ability isnt worth the splash unless you are really using the color.
Im keeping it simple for now, going to go hard on the card to see if its good in the meta. Running the delirium package to run into it more and be able to call it up.
