So I was looking at Gonti's Aether Heart, and thought that this is actually not that bad of a way to get to multiple turns, but there are some complications. Mainly its really difficult to recur the Heart. At first, I thought of the combination of Panharmonicon, Gonti's Aether Heart, and Mechanized Production. I though this was pretty solid - the token would come in, you'd generate 8 energy, then spend the energy to sac the token version of Aether Heart for an extra turn and you could repeat every turn for the rest of the game.
In looking into it, if I understand the interactions properly, you don't get priority in-between the token Aether Heart coming into play, and you needing to get rid of one due to the legend rule. You'll still generate 8 energy a turn with this, but you'll only get the extra turn the one time. 8 energy a turn might be enough interesting to be cool, but I feel like there's a way to do this but I just haven't seen it yet.
Outside of standard, something like Mirror Gallery solves this problem, though if you're looking out of standard then there's better turn recursion.
Anyone have any ideas inside standard that would make this work (getting sacable tokens of Gonti's Aether Heart to generate turns with?). Or alternatively, someway to cheaply recur Aether Heart and Mechanized Production so that if you send the card to the graveyard (legend rule) you can still exile the token and repeat the process the following turn (seems WAY to complicated to be worth it). Or maybe its blinkable?
It doesn't appear that there's any easy way to do it in Standard.
The easiest way in older formats is Prototype Portal, which lets you just make a fresh Aether Heart token every turn to exile. You still need to generate yourself enough energy, but it doesn't take too many pieces on top of that.

I think you're going about it wrong, trying to keep the original in play.
Cogwork Assembler lets you copy the heart. Sacrifice the original to the legend rule, then use the copy for the extra turn. Then use graveyard recursion cards to get back the original and replay it. Expensive mana wise, but doable. Standard does not have a good repeatable artifact recursion card, even to hand, except Emeria Shepherd which requires a land drop every time.
However, it can be done with Scrap Trawler + Workshop Assistant. Sac the assistant, get back anything. Then when the original heart dies, Trawler lets you get back Assistant. Sac Assistant to get back heart.
So far this is a pure artifact strategy. Very mana intensive though. A loop will cost 15 mana (cast heart, assistant, copy heart).
What I'm not sure about is whether the heart gives you EE when the copy etb, or if that's another priority issue thing.

That part I do know, the triggers still happen. You can't respond to the triggers until the state-based effect (getting rid of a legendary) goes away, but then they will all happen (all 4 giving you two energy).
So you're saying there's a chance... only 15 and a 5 card combo. But you will, if you order things correctly, net a bonus 4 energy per turn from casting the assistant.

Yeah so you can only sac the copies (or extra ones drawn).
