The heart of this combo deck is newcomer Crackdown Construct, which is 4 for a 2/2. Pretty underwhelming, but the gametext?
"Whenever you activate the ability of an artifact or creature that isn't a mana ability, Crackdown Construct gets +1/+1 until end of turn".
That means any card with an activation cost of 0 can go infinite with this, and in Modern the key contender is Lightning Greaves. The boots give our Construct Haste and Shroud, allowing for a kill the turn we cast it as long as we have one other creature to pass the boots back and forth to. Plan B in any color would be Shuko, which is cheaper, targetable with Trinket Mage, and goes infinite with just Construct, but doesn't offer protection or surprise kills.
My initial pass on a constructed-viable list is...
I believe Blessing of Leeches won't work as it is an enchantment and CC must be an ability of a creature or artifact.

Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Thoughts? How can we tune this into a deck that more consistently T3 Kills people?
You can ramp the same way Affinity does. It's the most efficient way to put many artifacts fast and then tutor for one of the pieces with Whir or Reshape. Key to the City is an artifact that provides evasion too. Cranial Plating could be a plan B in a build with Affinity's ramp, making aggro use of Ornithopter, Hope of Ghirapur and Memnite.
If you run tutors thought, you don't need 4 copies of several combo pieces. You want the 4-drop because it's hard to tutor, but the equipments must remain at 4 copies max. Like a 3/1 split.
Something like :
Some anti-removal is always necessary in a combo deck. But looks solid.

On the reserved list: Wizards won't remove it. Only we can. In other words: Play Modern, Pauper, or No-RL Eternal.

You don't need another creature. Equip can be activated on Crackdown Construct repeatedly.
What about Slip through Space or Apostle's Blessing? There are a couple of other combo decks in modern that try to punch through with pumped up, non-evasive creatures, and both of those cards see play.

My initial pass on a constructed-viable list is...
4 Arbor Elf
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Noble Hierarch
4 Spellskite
4 Crackdown Construct
Artifacts: 6
4 Lightning Greaves
2 Shuko
4 Rancor
Instants and Sorceries: 10
4 Spell Pierce
3 Remand
2 Pact of Negation
1 Fabricate
Lands: 20
4 Misty Rainforest
4 Polluted Delta
4 Breeding Pool
2 Stomping Ground
1 Wandering Fumarole
4 Forest
1 Island
Other cards to consider: Whir of Invention (replacing Fabricate), replacing Rancor with something more flexible like Distortion Strike as a way of getting damage through, more splashes of other colors (black for Thoughtseize and Abrupt Decay, most likely), Trinket Mage package with stuff like Hope of Ghirapur, Aether Spellbomb, and Relic of Progenitus. More artifacts with Mox Opal, Thoughtcast, Reverse Engineer. Could also add in Outrider en-Kor for more redundancy.
