Bant Energy Brew Less Sugar, Less Adrenaline Rush Energy Drink
First of all, the idea for this deck came from the ongoing discussions about Energy and how to use them, including the payoff for those accumulated Energies. After seeing the complete spoiler, here's a bit overview:
It seems that most of the mana efficient Energy producers are in G, with U coming in second.
1. Architect of the Untamed The best of them, continuous Energy, great with Evolving Wilds and Aether Hub, one package of both producer and payoff.
2. Attune with Aether, land tutor and manafixing, fetch basic for battlelands, early Energy for Aether Hub. Makes a land-light hand keepable.
3. Woodweaver's Puzzleknot life bumper for aggro opponents, and 6 Energy & 6 life from 1 card is pure value.
Another card worth mentioning is Glimmer of Genius, I know 4-mana is a lot, then again Read the Bones saw Constructed play, and this one doesn't lose you 2 life. Plus 2 Energy. One of the most decent card draw for blue.
On Deadlock Trap, on the surface it smells like jank, but in Bant colors which have minimum interaction (solution) to Planeswalkers, it can do work. It's not a clean answer which needs creatures alongside it to eventually finish Planeswalkers. Unlike most removal, it can switch targets according to changes in boardstate.
1. Woodweaver's Puzzleknot is useful especially against UR Thermo-burn. 6 life usually meant two cards from them. However, Glassblower's Puzzleknot is an interesting alternative in early turns for its Scry. Still in dilemma which is best MD and against the non-existent meta.
2. Cataclysmic Gearhulk is a beast at stabilizing. Keeping it and Deadlock Bolt or Sylvan Advocate is my usual choice. Nonbo with Spell Queller though, which looks weaker and weaker in a burn heavy meta.
3. Getting to 6-8 Energy is far more easier than previously thought. At some point, 19 Energy amassed with no Deadlock Trap or Architect in play (the weakest scenario of the deck)
4. Works best when beatdown and tappings from Deadlock Trap and Tamiyo went hand-in-hand. Otherwise, played very defensively with Tamiyo or Dovin until Cataclysmic Gearhulk arrive.
5. In one of the games, against a Mono Brown Eldrazi, which have scary lategames in Ulamog (which Stasis Snare took care of), and then Emrakul the turn after (***** my pants, I kid you not), Deadlock Trap kept Emrakul at bay for many turns before I could win the game. This is one of the problems with the deck, prolonging the game when its early threats is outclassed and get to lategame which other decks have better ones.
Currently considering Gideon, Ally of Zendikar in place of Queller / Dovin to add the ability to close off games more quickly. So what do you guys think, does this build have a chance to improve or should I scrap this and move on..

Seems to me that he's discussing the use of new cards and building an interesting deck around them, then posting it in the New Card Discussion forum as per its suggestions. As for which specific cards he's talking about, he references many of them in his, according to you, 'long-winded' post about how the deck works, so I wouldn't have thought there would be any trouble there. Perhaps I am misinterpreting your short-winded and cryptic post?

As for the actual deck: Is Gideon where it wants to be? You noted that it wants to get to lategame to store up and use big energy finishers, but has a trouble beating decks with a bigger lategame like Emrakul. Deadlock Trap seems like a decent answer to Emmy, at least, but otherwise it does look like there might be trouble answering 'bigger' spells.
Would Crush of Tentacles be decent here? It lets you replay some big energy-makers, is in your colors, and answers some things while keeping your energy. No idea if it's good, just a thought.
Alternately, Architect of the Untamed looks like the best consistent energy maker. If we max her, how could we recur or consistently draw lands to keep up an energy stream to power Trap?

The WW from Gideon is a problem, and his emblem doesn't do much in this kind of deck. I do like your suggestion on another 'reset' button other than the Gearhulk.
The synergy between the Architect and lategame Attune with Aether alone provide 3 Energy, which buys us 3 more turns with Trap. Some other interaction involving lands such as The Gitrog Monster, Splendid Reclamation, Mina and Denn, Wildborn may come up in different brew.
Another way is to include cards with bounce like Disappearing Act to either replay a land, recast Reflector Mage or a Puzzleknot. Can be an alternative to Negate, however UU in casting cost deserve more testing.
