As more of a control player, I find myself leaning in favor of Esper-
its suite of control spells is great right now.
Along with all of the proven favorites listed here,
I strongly suspect the new Liliana will become solid removal against a lot of decks.
I would be very tempted to run her as a four-of even with no Zombies and few creatures at all.
I feel like Oath of Nissa is the best reason to go Bant, and I'm not sure if that's enough for me.
What do others think? Is Tamiyo (or something I haven't mentioned) good enough to warrant going with Bant over Esper?

I think that going base Bant, the tools are there to go full 5 color between the color fixing of Oath of Nissa, the mana cheating of Deploy the Gatewatch, and Blue's draw/filtering. Chandra and Sorin are the strongest individual walkers, so it would be a shame to leave them out of a deck like this.
Why do you need blue? BW has the tools to compete by itself, as does GW. GW can splash tamiyo and either can splash nahiri, but otherwise i'd stick to two colors, mostly because makng a mana base to cast liliana, gideon and jace consistently is basically impossible this standard.
BR with liliana, ob and chandra is another possible path.
I like this idea of a Rakdos superfriends deck, but I fear it would HAVE to be a straight control deck, which is fine, but I personally am not a control player at all, just not my style. I don't see RB having the tools to tempo out a superfriends winning list like GW tokens does (even if only using 2 walkers). Plus none of the RB walkers have the ability to protect themselves the way the GW ones do. Removal on a walker has proven time and time again to not protect them as well as token making, and Chandra and liliana's "removal" is only strong enough to take out the weakest creatures, where a token can still chump block newlamog and save the walker. I have the chandras and obs to try making something like this, so if I get some lili's it could be fun to attempt a tempo build.

I'd really like to build a new Superfriends deck, but I can't decide between WUG and WUB.
Either way, you get access to:
With Bant, you can add:
Esper seems pretty great, too:
