I was playing sealed and got out a Sage of Ancient Lore and Sin Prodder in one of my games last night. My opponent then had to decide if he wanted to pump the sage or take some damage to the face every upkeep.
In another game my opponent was at 8 life with two creatures on the battlefield and I only had Sin Prodder on my side, then during my upkeep I revealed Dissension in the Ranks and suddenly my opponent had to decide between 5 damage to the face or losing his two blockers when I attacked that turn, the fact Prodder has menace makes it deceptively powerful as an attacker.
Probably the sweetest combo that I want to use is 2x Relentless Dead + Sac Outlet. Replacing the cost of "Sacrifice a Creature" with "Pay 2" is really powerful, and Relentless dead is also just a very strong card.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

Essentially, doing 4 damage, drawing a card and getting a 3/4 on turn 2
Sounds almost good enough for Modern burn.

Give her a Touch of Moonglove during the Upkeep. Watch as she transforms and kills off all the opponent's creatures with added life loss.
3 for her burn. Then 2 for each creature killed off. 7 from her direct attack.

I like the idea of Stern constable + Incorrigible youths: you tap down one of your opponent's creatures, then cast a creature with haste that can attack straight away.
Other ideas:
Sac. a Vessel of volatility at the end of the Declare Blockers phase, then use that mana to flash in a Spiteful motives to give your unblocked creature a +3/+0, First strike boost.
Avacyn, the purifier's transform trigger goes on the stack. In response to that you cast Essence flux on her. It's basically the Eldrazi displacer combo, but using only SOI cards.

Strength of Arms + Reaper of Flight Moonsilver can get +4/+3 by saccing that token making her 7/6.
Discard Amalgam to bring the back and them coming back triggers Amalgam and he comes back, too.

The Gitrog monster + Crawling sensation: every time a land goes to your graveyard you get to draw a card and get a 1/1 Insect token.
Expose evil + Nahiri, the harbinger's -2 ability. Better yet, her looting ability, discarding Murderous compulsion for the kill.
Eerie interlude + Biting rain, in order to hit only your opponent's creatures.
