It seems like this was a little lost in the big spoiler thread, but the Demon from SOI for the Duel Decks has a new ability word on it. 昂揚 translates as "enhancement; exaltation; promotion; uplift" and appears to be an ability word for something to happen if you have 4 types of card in your graveyard. Seems like a threshold replacement that encourages deck diversity. While the spoiled demon uses it as a drawback (lose 4 life unless you meet the condition), I imagine most cards will get little kicker effects for having this, like metalcraft or raid.
Double-faced cards pretty much have to be back, and this fills a similar role to morbid as a broad ability word that they can tack onto things in every color. The new Chandra's "discard and draw that many plus one" ability seems like a good way to fuel the graveyard as well, it should be interesting to see how they develop red graveyard interaction.
Looks like Tarmogoyf is going to get some new buddies (but let's not waste breath speculating a reprint that's not going to happen). "Card types in graveyards matter" is pretty exciting design space and encourages some pretty interesting deckbuilding, though asking for four different types seems significantly more difficult to reach than Threshold in limited.

I wouldn't be so hasty to say Tarmo won't get a reprint in SOI. With the new rotation Wizards have said there is more space for reprints.
The direct translation is "high-spirited" (as an adjective) or "uplift" (as a verb), so I guess it's Spiritual in english. Exalted would work but alas it's taken.
Ascended. (That's my guess.)

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Let's remember there are no Lhurgoyfs on Innistrad.
Yet.
Look, I'm no champion for Tarmo, in fact I really don't like what the card is all abuot, but if Wizards feels like printing it in SOI then they will. They can ret con in anyway they want.
MaRo mentioned that Threshold was unlikely to have a Standard reprint. He also recently mentioned that there was a mechanic in SoI that he thought would never have been revisited. I think Ascended is that mechanic.

Not that much harder. Land+creature+(instant or sorcery removal spell) seems pretty common. Then you just need an artifact creature, a Traveler's amulet effect, or a spell of the other card type.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.

What makes you believe that Tarmogoyf would be reprinted in Shadows? It was just part of a supplemental set and was last printed in future sight which was a very different set than INN. It just doesn't make much sense to think he would make another appearance in a block dedicated to angels, demons, humans, zombies and werewolves.

The Graveyard was a huge theme in Innistrad. Burning Vengeance and Undying for example.

Burning Vengeance was really just a reference to Flashback... which, as you said, was a big part of Innistrad's "graveyard matters" theme. I don't know if they're itching to reprint Tarmogoyf for Standard, but such a creature would surely be attracted to Innistrad's rich and interesting graveyards.
Question on "Card Types"...so in your graveyard you have an instant, socery, enchantment and enchantment creature. Do you have 4 card types or just 3 & the enchantment creature is just another enchantment or can it be a creature and now you can cast spells that require 4 card types in your graveyard.
