EDIT: But yeah, he should be really fun in a Jeskai tempo-y deck. Maybe Ascendancy Aggro?
I was thinking about this deck in the main spoiler thread. I think Jeskai Tokens is still the way to do it with Mentor, Ascendancy, Outburst/Fodder, Mantis Rider, and perhaps Seeker of the Way, with Zada, and then run a bunch of combat tricks like Defiant Strike, Titan's Strength, Refocus, and even Taigam's Strike. Throw in some burn and bounce for removal and call it a deck.
Zada isn't really a centerpiece here so much as a finisher to give your tokens one final push through with an army wide combat trick, but I think that's where he is going to be best considering he's only a 3/3 on his own.
Alternatively, throw him in a rally deck as his ally typing is a go for that, and see if you can't proc Hero of Goma Fada in to Chandra's Ignition for the instant win. Kind of magical christmas land considering you would probably need Hero, Zada, and Gideon out all at once to make all that happen, but I'm sure there's other cool things that can be done with all those allys and rally.
Copies aren't cast and don't trigger prowess as I understand it. Or Eidolon.
Well that sucks.
Thanks though.

This card seems like it would be borderline broken in a tokens. For Jeskai, with a Mentor and, let's say a Hordeling Outburst, a Defiant Strike could be a one-mana draw [insert number...I have 7 in my head]. Just seems like it would provide an absurd advantage...
And that's not to mention other interactions that I'm sure would be absurdly powerful--that was just the first that immediately came to mind.

Titan's Strength is now overrun for R. Refocus untaps all your dudes and draws cards for 1U. Taigam's Strike makes an army of 4/2 unblockables for 2 turns. You can even throw Gideon, Ally of Zendikar in to this shell because of his 0 to make even more targets. This definitely seems like a piece that keeps Jeskai Tokens relevant post rotation.
Sad that he's an ally but doesn't really play with them other than rewarding you for playing lots of creatures. He'd really be better in a token deck than an ally one.

Why is it "sad" that he's an ally? Why is it a didsapointment? Does he cost more to cast because he's an ally? No. Does he now synergize with more cards in the set and in previous sets by triggering ally etbs, and generally have all the benefits of being an ally? Sure looks like it. Is there anything with protection from allies? Pretty positive that's a no. Hmm you said he would only benefit from lots of creatures and tokens, and it seems like allies like to play lots of creatures. And it looks like gideon likes to make tokens, that are so allies, and with some cantripping pump cards it looks like you can fill the gap between the two! Or heroic creatures! That's amazing! It's almost as if being an ally is only beneficial to him! But I guess in the end it's sad.

Someone actually posted an absolutely hilarious modern combo deck that basically does this.
Run a bunch of dorks, snaps, Zada, the red, green, and blue wisps, a 1-of of refocus, and become immense as a finisher. I've been goldfishing it on tappedout, and it pretty much always gets a kill condition on turn 4 (with a small amount of variance between turn 3 and turn 5). It seems really really fun
Are there any cards that target one creature and deal damage/loss of life to opponent(s) (not targeted)? I cannot find any, the closest I found was Chandra's Ignition.
if you had 4 creatures out, cast Arc Lightning targeting Zada, could you deal one damage to each of your targeted creatures and the other 8 damage elsewhere?

Doesn't work as you don't get to pick the targets for the new copies, you would just bolt all your dudes. His scope is basically limited to combat tricks in decks that go wide, but it's a pretty nifty scope to have.
the ones i found i want to play: (not for commander) Rally the Righteous multiple untaps and power boost (your creatures are untapped more than once, specially the ones that does share its color with Zada) Sigil Blessing your creatures get 3 + X - 1 where X are the number of creatures you control, might be stronger than Might of the Masses
So am I reading this correct? Say you throw a Titan's Strength on the Zada, and you have three or four Goblin Glory Chaser out on the battle field do each of them get Titan's Strength….
copy that spell for each other creature you control that the spell could target. Each copy targets a different one of those creatures.

Sigil Blessing + Zada, Hedron Grinder is stronger than Might of the Masses at all creature levels. What Masses has going for it is that it's standard legal. Naya tokens seems like a good home in modern for him. In Standard it's either Atarka Red goblin spam or Jeskai Tokens, though Naya allies might also be a deck considering all the good color fixing we'll have for allied colors.
I personally think Jeskai Tokens gives the best options in standard, as while you give up the cuteness of hitting him with might, you still have access to Titan's Strength, while gaining access to awesome cantrip combos like Defiant Strike and Refocus. Imagine you've got the board set up with Mentor, a monk token, and Zada, you hit Zada with Taigam's Strike, generating a token and giving all your prowess dudes +3/+1 unblockable, along with Zada himself +2/0 and unblockable, then swing in for 14 unblockable. Next upkeep, Taigam's rebounds, and you do it again but for 18+ this time. That doesn't even assume there is a Jeskai Ascendancy on board, which would make the initial strike hit for 17, which depending on damage already dealt at that point may likely be lethal.
Zada + Rally the Righteous untap each creature you control N-times where N is the number of creatures that shares a color with it on the battlefield.
for sample if you have Zada and 3 other red creatures, all of them are untapped 4 times, very funky with tap symbol damage skills like with Izzet Staticaster
(and they gain +8/+0 but that’s just extra *g)
hm and yeah they might be funky in a Jeskai Tokens Deck if you can use Effekts for tapping them. Crackleburr already does love my plans ;P

I'm not entirely sure how all those extra untaps would work, but my gut says the copies happen in a way that wouldn't allow tapping and untapping like that. I might be wrong though. It does turn your entire army in to Goblin Piledriver's though, which is nifty.

With Birds of Paradise or Noble Hierarch and 4 of each you could draw a good deal of your deck at once, right?
