With Origins right around the corner I thought the community should start some good limited talks. With half the set out and a lot of scrutiny coming in for the rares and mythics let's give the little guys some time in the spotlight. So I want to know what you guys think the best BLUE COMMONS are for LIMITED. You can go top 5, top 3, or just the top.
I'll start. I THINK the best commom in blue SO FAR is Ringwarden Owl. It's quite solid for a 5 drop common with both flying and prowess it'll work well in a blue spell heavy deck and can probably end the game if played right.
What do you guys think?

You're as good or as bad as you think you are.

I'd say probably top five commons revealed so far, in approximate order are:
1) Ringwarden Owl - It's basically a common Air Elemental, and often can hit even harder.
2) Claustrophobia - Three mana effectively hard removal
3) Send to Sleep - If you can turn on Spell Mastery, this is a huge beating, and can often give you two free alpha strikes.
4) Scrapskin Drake - 2/3 flying for 3 is really strong, even if it can't block ground pounders. That third toughness makes it really tough to deal with.
5) Separatist Voidmage - It's no Mist Raven, but Man-'o'-war effects are always strong in limited due to the tempo swing

Considering the creatures we've seen in blue so far. Send to sleep isn't looking to remove blockers for big attacks so far. Your threats are going to have evasion anyway. The biggest power on non-flying blue creatures so far is 2.
For scrapskin drake. I would have normally said it was burn resistant. But we've seen two common burn spells so far, and they both kill it (one for a single mana)
Only the owl and claustrophobia seem like safe bets so far. The format doesn't seem to be very slow or very fast based on the current cards. But I believe it will be more on the fast side because:
1. Renown would be either very oppressive, or useless in a slow format.
2. Green with its elf theme, timberpack wolf, mana accel and titanic growth would eat a slow format for breakfast.
The usefulness of separatist will depend on just how fast the format is. (We're talking about limited right?)
Maritime guard seems good vs black so far, but the other colors won't care. So it will end up being filler.
I'm going to asume that aspiring aeronaut will shine. As we already know that there will be an artifact subtheme and that thopters will matter.
Faerie Miscreant is arguably the best if you can grab multiples. On its own though, I'd say it's the Owl.
Highly unlikely. You need at least 3 faeries for it to be ok (Since you likely will not draw all 3 in a game) and with several cards making thopter tokens, the card you may draw won't make up for the poor body you get.
The only decent number of these is 4, and the odds of getting that are low. I'll let other players go for them while I grab value.
5. Send to Sleep, I can't tell whether this is great or unplayable, but if there is a tempo-oriented deck with enough spells to turn this on, this is very cheap for what it does.
4.Artificer's Epiphany, this card is always playable, and quite good in the right deck.
3. Ringwarden Owl, this will often be Air Elemental, and your opponent always has to respect that possibility.

So
claustrophobia
Ringwarden Owl
aspiring aeronaut
(In no particular order)
Separatist Voidmage
Claustrophobia
Ringwarden Owl
Disperse
EDIT: Oops, thought Tower Geist was a common for some crazy reason.
you are both wrong. Tower Geist is in the regular packs but it is an uncommon.

2. Separatist Voidmage, this will decide games in an aggressive deck.
1. Claustrophobia, there's very little in this set to punish you for not actually killing the creature.
