So it's mainly between Anticipate, Drowner, and Hand of Silumgar given the first pick. I think Drowner is the best, with a similar ability to Anticipate on a body even though it is a later-game card. Hand is a really good two-drop though.
Hand of Silumgar for me. Anyone who played with the Rats in previous drafts knows how strong cheap deathtouchers are, and IMO this guy is a clear step up from the Rats. Great for an aggressive start, but also extremely good tempo play later regardless of the board state (i.e. your 2-drop can trade with anything on the ground on D and attack into just about anything and at least force a trade). IMO strong two drops are just too valuable in this "morph" format to pass on this especially good one.
Anticipate is solid, but I think people are really overrating it here due to its constructed implications. No way you pass a creature this strong for it.
Gurmag Drowner has a degree of synergy with the Necromaster.
Hand of Silumgar is a cheap deathtoucher, but I don't know how useful it'd be given the amount of fliers in the format.
It has to be either Silumgar Sorcerer or Youthful Scholar. I'd go with Silumgar Sorcerer (if we had picked Gurmag Drowner last pack it would have been an easy Youthful Scholar) because it costs less and flying is great, but I could easily be wrong.
Lot of goodies in this pack, I too have trouble deciding between Scholar and Sorcerer. I think I'd rather take the enabler first and hope to get one or two good exploit creatures throughout the draft, he seems like a very decent card even without exploit stuff anyway.
Yup, easily the best card here. 3-for-1 for 4 mana that doesn't cost you much tempo (and synergizes well with a major mechanic in exploit)...this guy is extremely valuable.
The Sorcerer is sweet too, but not on the same level. 3-mana is right at that point where it can be difficult to keep it ready when needed.
