Currently there are not many morphs in standard, but what got me looking at both of these was the idea of Mardu control. Currently Seeker of the Way is required for the 2 drop slot to remove early tokens and gain life. I find both of the above a bit more controlling. While they do fill different rolls, they might be more of a sideboard card.
I find that morph in general lacks for speed in standard, but these have great upsides and in most cases offer a 2 for 1 or at the least demand removal for the threat of being turned face up. At first I had considered that Hidden Dragon Slayer was the preferred choice due to life link, but as Sorin, Solemn Visitor is in every Mardu shell, Silumgar's Assasin's is a greater threat that gets in for considerable damage and removes those that would block it.
Are either of these playable or are they too slow? Can either of them replace Seeker of the Way and if not why?
I have also considered that Hidden Dragon Slayer will find a spot in a Warriors deck in the future as it looks like it has gained a lot of power in DTK.
