In standard, I was thinking of running:
21 3-drops (includes Boon Satyr)
4 Elf, 3 Rattleclaw, 4 Collected Company
3 Wild Slash, 3 Crater's Claw
22 land
An interesting note about this card - if you whiff on finding creatures, then at the very least you just took 6 cards you probably don't want off the top of your deck.
I'm personally trying out Collected Company in a couple modern decks with Maralen of the Mornsong, a card that really wants flash.
The card is intriguing, that's for sure. However, I'm not convinced it is as powerful as a lot of people claim it to be. It requires you to build your deck around this card, which for standard will probably result in an underpowered deck, imo. In older formats you can do far more degenerate plays than summoning two 3-cost creatures turn 4.
Add to that the anti-synergy with itself (more copies of Collected Company occupy deck space, plus the first Collected Company cast dilutes the deck of targets which may be important if you play shuffle effects like fetchlands), and I'm pretty sure this is never a 4-of. As with all new cards many people tend to think in best-case scenarios, whereas history has shown that consistency trumps random luck in the long term.
I'm testing Collected Company as a 4-of in Modern "Melira" "Pod" Reborn (now with no Meliras and no Pods because Birthing Pod is banned and Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit is so much better than Melira when I can't combo off and still enables the combo), and it virtually always hands me 2 creatures (and despite the fact that I play 7 mana dorks in it, I haven't gotten 2 dorks with it yet). Yes, this counts all the times when I cast 2 or more Collected Companys all game. Then again, that deck does currently run 28 creatures it can hit...
I'm also testing Collected Company as a 2-of in 17-hittable-creature Modern Goyf Twin. It's significantly more hit-and-miss there (it hits one creature too often, and it's whiffed twice so far there), but I get 2 creatures with it the most often (including the times when I make Snapcaster Mage flash it back), and when Goyf Twin's creatures are so powerful overall (and I can hit combo pieces with CC), I honestly believe CC is worth it.
For thinking in best-case scenarios, I stuck 2 Eternal Witness in "Pod" Reborn to experience the Magical Christmas land that is flipping E. Wit. with CC and then recurring CC, and yeah, that interaction happens often enough and wins games hard.
There are already a few decks in modern that could use this card without building around it: Elves, Stompy, Zoo (Which needed a Green Sun Zenith replacement anyway), and I'm sure there's at least two or three more.
Yeah, I have to agree with this guy. Some decks already don't have to build around CC, and you need surprisingly few creatures in your deck to make CC good.
I don't think either of your jackpot scenarios (snapcaster or witness) work. The collected company isn't in your graveyard at the time the creature is dropped into play, is it?

The Eternal Witness jackpot works. E. Wit.'s trigger only goes on the stack when it ETB, and the trigger only goes on the stack after Collected Company has finished resolving and has gone to the graveyard. It's like Unearth into Snapcaster Mage--Tiago can, in fact, target that Unearth right afterward and reanimate something else with it.
The Snapcaster jackpot only works if I have 8 mana (4 mana for hardcast Collected Company, 4 mana to flash it back with a flipped Tiago). I tap out for Collected Company so often that Tiago is one of the worst CC flips in Goyf Twin. Hardcast Tiago flashing back CC is pretty good, though.
Can I put two morph in the battlefield when I play "Collected Company"?
Thanks.
Morph is an alternate casting method. You ever only has the option for alternate casting methods or costs when you play cards from your hand.
They will have to be face up.
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. I can't wait till I can play my bicycle land out, thus making me heckbent, while I have Nessie on the field. You know, so I can attack with my Pervert.
Having a high volume of creatures, as is necessary for CC, also benefits Strength from the Fallen. That also directly benefits from CC when it spits out two enchantment creatures at once. There are plenty of CC-qualifying enchantment creatures that play nicely with the graveyard theme (Nyx Weaver, Nighthowler, and Pharika, God of Affliction), not to mention just plain powerful cards like Boon Satyr and Master of the Feast. Bestow creatures fit well with CC, since they can have qualifying mana costs while also occupying spots higher on the curve, which are necessarily neglected in this sort of deck.
When they're all enchantments they can also be dug up with Kruphix's Insight. That and CC together provide eight opportunities to look at the top six of your library, allowing the inclusion of some 1-of's for increased flexibility, and just generally providing tons of card advantage through frequent 2-for-1s and 3-for-1s...potentially 4-for-1s with a lucky CC getting good surprise blocks.

Was there a tournament I missed or something else going on?
The finals of the Magic Online Championship was Collected Company Elves vs Abzan Company. Modern format of course.
Both decks also increased their meta-share there.

Neat, I just found a legacy list too. So is it time to sell at $15? This is often as good as it gets for standard rares.

The stimulus for the price spike is due to eternal formats. Additionally, the card is in low supply while the demand continues to increase. Thusly, I don't see a reason for the price to drop as it typically does with hyped cards for the standard format as rotation nears.
I have a very important question, in regards to Collected Company in my green/white beatdown deck with Wall of Omens! So, I stuffed my deck with my favorite 3-or-less-mana-cost creatures, like Fleecemane Lion, Brimaz, Imposing Sovereign, Loxodon Smiter, Dryad Militant, ect. Now I am ordering a promo foil Wall of Omens to replace my Anafenza, Kin-tree Spirit, simply because she is hard to get out on turn 2 in a green AND white deck(2white), and let's face it: late in the game, Anafenza SUCKS, whereas Wall of Omens is still badass, even after a Day of Judgement or some other board sweeper!! (I do have 1 Day of Judgement and several combos with it, just in case) However, here's where it gets confusing for me...
Say I play a Collected Company and just by luck I get a dream combination of Brimaz, King of Oreskos and a Wall of Omens as well! Now, Wall of Omens states that "When Wall of Omens enters the battlefield, draw a card." My concern is that Idk if this effect triggers *WHILE* Collected Company is resolving, since it would technically trigger on top of the stack, or after it has already resolved? You do LOOK at the top 6 cards of your library, which Idk if that is still considered the top 6 cards of your library *WHILE* Wall of Omens is entering the battlefield(in which case, Where do I draw the card or can I just pick one? Lol)? Or do I put the remaining 4 cards on the bottom of my library and *THEN* draw a card?? ...
Either way sounds kind of fishy to me... So, please help me out! Any official rulings, or opinions or comments on this subject matter would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Please and thank you! I have been "pondering" (get it) this situation for hours and have been trying to find an answer online, to no avail! I'm surprised that nobody has brought this up before, considering that Wall of Omens and Collected Company are BOTH GREAT cards on their own! But, together it a very confusing situation! So, somebody please HELP!! 'TWOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Do the above.
Once a card begins resolving, it must complete resolution before another effect can be popped from the stack and resolved. You must fully resolve the collected company before you resolve the Wall of omens ability.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

Six of them are mine! Mwa ha ha!
Edit: They have restocked with 40 more. Price is still the same. Get em while you can.
Edit 2, the next morning: Lol, they're all gone again. This is happening!
