I think this deck could be a contender. It's clearly what gave WotC such fits as to bump Empty the Pits from XBB and then XXBBB before finally settling on its current ludicrous cost, but the ability to dump 12+ "hasty" power into play on the opponents end step is something that shouldn't be ignored:
The strategy is to match your opponent, card for card, until turn 8 or so. You can mostly play on your opponent's turn with your instants, and wait to cast your sorcery-speed draw until later. By turn 8 it shouldn't be hard to have 10+ cards in your 'yard, allowing you to go for the kill with Empty the Pits.
The big dilemma for this deck is how many EtP to run, and whether or not to splash green for Sultai Charm and sideboard options (Sultai Charm is so much better than our current Font of Fortunes/Read the Bones combo it isn't even funny), but I erred on the side of better mana until the metagame is more defined. Likewise avoiding Negate even though losing our EtP to a Disdainful Stroke is awful. What do you think?

I'm pretty sure your going to want Negate or at least Dissolve since both your wincons are so easily removed by cards like Hero's Downfall and Bile Blight. Neither of your wincons leaves any real value behind if they die immediately, like Elspeth, Sun's Champion dropping tokens right away.Disdainful Stroke cannot counter either of the spells your deck is weak against and those two spells will likely still see heavy play as you yourself are packing 4 ofs of them..
Just curious, why not Bitter Revelation instead of Font of Fortunes it cost the same in terms of 4CMC - and Bitter Revelation helps with your delve and you still get the card advantage...even though a sorcery is a draw back and you lose 2 life compared to the Font's ETB speed of only paying half now and half later concept but I feel the overall affect of Bitter would fit better, JMHO...
You might give a thought for Disciple of Deceit as a blocker early game that can find EtP or turn useless cards into answers. With that much removal, opponents should have an empty/safe board to swing into quite often when it's time to tutor.
