MTG Salvation

I opened 3 boxes for my LGS and they had 3 fetches per box. The box I purchased though came from that same case, so I'll be pretty pissed if my box is crap. Though the likelihood is kind of high since the 3 boxes I opened were pretty damn good. Knowing my luck, I'll get the 2 mythic box with 2 fetches only.

Well I did open my box, and was far more fortunate than I thought I would be.

Also got 2 Zurgo Helmsmasher (a better card than I think people are giving credit for) and a Hooded Hydra, a card I definitely want to give a shot. Funny thing, the Bloodsoaked Champion was the ONLY black rare in my entire box. All the other mono-colors had at least 3-5. Just found it strange.

All in all, I really can't *****. I do, however, wish I had more of the better uncommons. But those are easy enough to get.

So far from 5 sealed, 1 draft, and 24 prize packs, I have 0 fetches in 57 packs. I still have 12 unopened prize packs saved for team sealed practice, but I doubt there are 5 fetches in there to make up for my terrible luck.

If anyone has 0 fetches with more packs opened I would be surprised.

I've cracked a total of 18 packs (prerelease, a fat pack and 3 boosters) - pulled 5 fetches (none were foil though).

1 Delta (Prerelease)
2 Foothills (1 fat pack, 1 random booster)
1 Bloodstained (fat pack)
1 Strand (fat pack)

I do know 2 guys who both opened 2 boxes, one pulled 10 w/ 1 foil the other pulled 3 with no foils.

One gentleman at the prerelease pulled four fetches in his sealed pool. Good times! I look forward to $10 fetches!

Out of my two prerelease pools, the most expensive card I got was a foil Ankle Shanker (not the promo).
Got passed a Bloodsoaked Champion in the draft I attended tonight, opened Avalanche Tusker, Thousand Winds and Hardened Scales in my draft packs. Finally got a mythic in my one prize pack (Wingmate Roc)

Then my box had value of 1 fetch (Flooded Strand), 3 mythics (Sorin, Pearl Lake Ancient, and Empty the Pits). I got three Master of Pearls, 3 Avalanche Tusker, 3 Dragon Throne, 3 Dragon Style Twins, 3 Abzan Ascendancy, and 3 Mardu Ascendancy as my multiples. Holy cow, I have never gotten so many 3-ofs. Wish any of them had been decent.

Opened a fat pack and a box
Fat Pack had Wooded Foothills, Zurgo Helmsmasher, Ashcloud Phoenix, Savage Knuckleblade and foil High Sentinels of Arashin.
The Box had Wooded Foothills, Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker, Hooded Hydra, See the Unwritten, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant, Zurgo Helmsmasher and 2 foil Rares, Jeskai Ascendancy and Altar of the Brood.

i opened a case:
1st box contain only 1 fetchland, no planeswalker and 2 junk rare foil
2nd box contain 4 fetchland, 1 planeswalker, 1 Sorin, 1 junk rare foil, and Surrak Dragonclaw FOIL
3rd box contain 4 fetchland, 1 Sarkhan, 1 junk rare foil
4th box contain 4 fetchland, 1 bloodstain mire foil, 1 junk rare foil and 1 Sarkhan
5th box contain 3 fetchland, 1 junk rare foil, and 1 Sarkhan
6th box contain 3 fetchland, 1 junk rare foil, and no planeswalker

i got mixed feeling about my case,
i am quiet satisfied because the reason i buy 1 case is to have complete playsets of the fetchland, and 3x Sarkhan. and i achieve just that
but i am still feeling a little bit cheated because i just got 1x Sorin. total only 4 planeswalker on 1 case. i really like more

edit: how you guys rate about my box ? please give me some opinion, since this is my first time buying a case

I opened 6 boxes (2KR, 2JP, 1 EN, 1 RU)
1st KR box: 2 wooded foothills
2nd KR box: one of each
EN box: one of each
both JP boxes: one of each
RU box: all except Polluted Delta

One of the boxes had only 2 mythics (both PWs, so not too bad) and the others had 5~6. I opened 3 Sorins and 2 Sarkhans. I had at least one of each mythic. Not great foil rares thou.

Has anyone here seen the YouTube video of the dude opening 10 fetches? 4! Four of the fetches were foil. Looks kinda sketchy but I dunno.

The first box ended up paying for itself, but the second fell quite short. The most annoying was pulling 3 Sultai Ascendancy and 3 Avalanche Tusker.

Across 5 prereleases and prize packs I cracked just 2 fetches (foothills and windswept heath.) Got 2 sorins and 2 of the promo dig through time though as well as foil see the unwritten. This includes prize packs as well.

As for opening zero in a box? Well do that across multiple and I will be surprised. One? Not at all. All rares are just as likely to be opened whether they're polluted delta or avalanche tusker.

Seemed like pretty good value to me. Foil Flooded Strand is $75 on SCG right now.

I have only opened six packs of KTK and got...(3 opened in release event, 1 from winning pack round, and 2 for prizes for going X-1)

Pretty weird but if I bought a thousand packs it would all balance out I imagine.

Opened one box so far. 8 Fetches. Not one Bloodstained Mire though. 5 Mythics including Sarkhan and Wingmate Roc. Overall, with all the cards, I'd say this the happiest I've been with WotC in a long time as far as opening packs go. I don't loathe any rares and am actually being stalked by a reasonably powerful card in Crackling Doom. Including my box I have opened maybe 50 packs and am the proud owner of 5. Keep up the good work Wizards.

Without knowing the actual box map, the probability of opening 0 fetches in a box of Khans is approximately .15%.

I have no idea how they're distributing fetchlands. My buddy and I each opened a box and got a grand total of 3 (2 in my box and 1 in his). Later that day we played a $20 Sealed event. He opened three fetchlands out of six packs, with one foil. I opened a fetch and then another from my winnings. It just seems strange to me.

Opened a pretty gross box today. Got one Bloodstained Mire, no other fetches, both Planeswalker emblems but no planeswalker, foil junk rare that didn't even have an extra rare in the pack.

I watched a lot of boxes get opened today too. Every box but one had at least two fetches. One box I saw had 0 and a Sarkhan as it's only saving grace. Right before that a guy cracked a box that had 5 fetches including a foil Strand and a planeswalker or two along with about 5 other mythics and two foil rares. Digusting...

I also opened a fat pack, got 1 fetch. Guy right after me opened 4 fetches and Sarkhan in his fat pack. I hate my luck.

I am definitely going to trade the foil for a play set of normal and that Sorin, which is my 3rd one from all 3 of my boxes, is going to be traded for more fetches as well.
