Pretty neat card for Commander; and although I'm not sure about monocolored commanders (Since everyone is obsessive over multicolored commanders and wedges) I think she could still see play in some sort of sacrifice/graveyard deck. What do you all think?
Considering trying this out in my Prossh, Skyraider of Kher EDH, since I can sacrifice kobolds to Prossh, then sacrifice Prossh to Gisa to make tons of Zombies, then recast Prossh and repeat.

You can also sack out the tokens to her, generating an extra 2/2 with each activation. Since unlike most creatures with this sort of ability it doesn't say "Non-token creature". She can create an endless stream of tokens. Which is neat.

Which was actually what I first noticed! That's so cool. You just need one creature to sacrifice and then te fun begins.

um, no? the kobolds are 0/1, which means that Gisa gives you no tokens
assuming you meant the kobold tokens. if you didn't, then disregard this comment
You don't need undead warchief for the combo, there is no colourless part to her ability.
You need it to profit. See, you have to sac at least one zombie to Gisa herself, one to pay for freed from the real, one to pay for her ability, leaving one left over if the Zombie has four power. If it's got three, you get infinite death/ETB triggers, but you need at least four power to profit.
Yes! More characterless cards finally getting print. Now here's to hoping for Choryu, Arixmethes and Jenrik. Geralf too, who I'm sure will accompany her too. Teferi PW card proved even though Chroyu is dead, they could still make a card for him representing the character before his death (chronology shouldn't matter in EDH as the cards can represent their earlier forms like Teferi no longer being a PW but finally getting his PW version printed).

Having Purphoros, God of the Forge in play too can lead to some good times. Or Prossh+Xenagos, God of Revels, sac him to Gisa after combat for an enormous army of zombies. Which can get even bigger after casting Prossh again, saccing kobolbs and zombies to him, then saccing to Gisa. Yeah, I think I'll be including this in my 99
I love how at the very least, you can sacrifice 1 Zombie to turn it into 2.
The flavor of that is just...what?
On another note, it would be really fitting if they printed Geralf alongside Gisa (and a bit of a let-down if they didn't). The fact that he is referenced in her flavor text makes it even more so.

I collect Legendary cards, Planeswalkers, and Sagas.
Current count of different Legends: 1314
Current count of different Planeswalkers: 213
Current count of different Sagas: 44
You still have to sacrifice one for an island and then the other to create two more tokens, then sacrifice one for an island and another for the token, infinite loop of abilities with nothing gained right?
Toss in a Blood Artist or Black Market and you've got yourself an infinite combo (the benefits of which are delayed for Market, though)! She certainly seems like she could be a very interesting card to run in the right decks, though, that's for sure.
If we're gonna stay zombie, wouldn't Diregraf Captain do the trick?

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I really like the artwork, but the card looks pretty underwhelming. 5 mana for a creature (or a monocolor general if you will) which basically does nothing until you untap with it isn't my cup of tea.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
If we're gonna stay zombie, wouldn't Diregraf Captain do the trick?
Only problem there is that Diregraf Captain is UB and couldn't fit in a mono-black EDH deck, though I would prefer to go completely tribal if I was running Glisa, but both could always be run in a Sedris, the Traitor King deck though
True, but my comment was more about the combo idea involving Intruder Alarm, which you could easily run in a Grimgrin build. Grimgrin is nicely suited for combos anyway with Gravecrawler and such, so Gisa would be easy to slot in along with Intruder Alarm and the Captain.

Intruder Alarm's effect requires no mana, so each iteration produces net zombie. You end up with infinite 2/2s and infinite mana.
