Convoke
Search your library for up to two basic land cards, put them onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library.
Is this good enough? It's not Rampant Growth or Farseek, that's for sure. With two creatures out though, it does put you on five mana on turn four without a land drop that turn. It'll ramp out Nissa, Worldwaker and any number of other large green things. Is this the best we can expect? I'm a bit surprised that this even exists given the shuffle requirement (perhaps why we haven't seen Rampant Growth recently to begin with? What are your thoughts?
The closest equivalent is obviously Explosive Vegetation/Ranger's Path. And with one creature to tap, it is that. It's also occasionally better if you can manage two creatures tapped to it.
I expect it will see some standard play because Jund/Naya Monsters is a deck that is doing well in block and it would like this to help ramp.

I can't see this being too great. Convoke and ramp don't really work well together in green. I mean, what are you going to convoke with.. your mana dorks?
Some of the time, possibly. However, this turns everything into a dork sort of. I'm really asking because I was hoping for some sort of Rampant Growth effect in this set (or Khans) and this looks like their answer to that need.
So its just awful compared to skyshroud claim, but thats a high bar. But seems just too bad to make standard. As said, its mutually exclusive with mana dorks as a ramp piece. Like how overwhelm is bad at its job too
With some access to Green with mana sources, other colors good at putting out tokens can use this for getting lands. Convoke is useful for tapping creatures that have summoning sickness and you're not planning to block with.
most standard decks can't really make use of mid-game ramp cards like Ranger's Path or Gilded Lotus. Plus the convoke mechanic is antithetical to how ramp tends to operate. A deck trying to get 7 lands in play most likely isn't playing many 1-drops.
