Yes, he's definitely going in my GWB super-anti-friends deck...
Garruk, Nissa, Ajani (Steadfast and Mentor), Elspeth, and then more ramp. Hope there's cultivates or rampant growths. A turn 3-4 Garruk will not only be scary, but it might just seal the game completely. I think he's pretty durly with my dream setup. Turn 1 elf, turn 2 cultivate/rampant (I so want either), turn 3 Nissa, turn 4 Garruk or Elspeth. As Nissa can untap shocks for now.
You mean Super Villians?
If you really wanna get nerdy, Legion of Doom is the counter to Super Friends.
I love the name for this planeswalker, but he simply isn't that good. At 7 mana, you expect him to be almost an instant finisher, but he just simply is not. His +1 creature spawn is only slightly better than Primal Hunter, the other one is good at shutting down opposing planeswalkers. The minus 3 leaves him too vulnerable. And his ultimate will most likely get you a win, but no more than any other ultimate. I would prefer Nissa's ultimate to this tbh. Not worth it in the current standard, may be feasible if planeswalker builds become more popular.
Disappointing due to the casting cost. He'll be a 1-of, if anything, filling a similar role to Vraska (going long against midrange mirrors / control matchups).
The risk of having 1 in your opening hand and/or drawing him in multiples will restrict his use though.

Legacy: Lands, Deathblade, Death and Taxes, Elves, MUD
Retired Legacy: Merfolk, Goblins, Jund, Delver, Reanimator
nissa's ultimate is good only if you give them haste. making your land creatures is terrible against removal and boardwipes. supreme verdict, destroy all creatures, that means your lands are now gone. bile blight plus drown in sorrow wipes your board also. overloaded mizzium mortars also wipes your board. anger of the gods plus bile blight or any other overall damaging effect wipes your board. as long as board wipes are around her ultimate is useless
and i dont think a 7 cost walker is to expensive. it shows that WoTC learned from the past. the only other walker with 4 abilities is our buddy jace the mindsculptor. his cost was 4 and he took over every game he was played in until he got banned from standard. you could mulligan down to 5 and have 4 land a mindsculptor and snap keep it and kno turn 4 your going to win the game 85% of the time. putting this garruk at 7 cost will keep him in standard without getting banned and shows WoTC actually pays attention to their past flubs. elspeth costs 6 and shes a win condition by herself and everyone that runs midrange with white has atleast 2 in their deck. having him cost one more for one additional ability, and a good ability at that is perfectly fine. true he can be cast on turn 4 still but that takes work, the right cards, and dodging removal. i think wizards did a hell of a job on this guy and i guarentee he will be a 2 of in monoblack devotion splashing green, along with liliana vess since its more hand disruption plus all those kill spells weve used to kill your creatures, come under my control. so not only do the removal spells make a path for small creatures to do damage, it also sets up a later game win condition

Nissa's ultimate only turns the lands (basic lands only) pulled from the library into creatures. If you already have, say... 7-9 lands in play that aren't creatures, those lands will be safe from the removal, and now you're drawing nothing but nonbasic lands (if any) and gas. And if they don't wipe the board, then you're sitting in a really good spot.

true. but still seems like itd be a disadvantage to me
Sorry to be so blunt but if you ultimate Nissa and get wrathed you deserved it. Decks that play wraths are kinda obvious and her +1 ability is already good enough against those decks which makes the decision to ultimate her even more questionable. Against all other types of decks her ultimate is pretty much game over.
Just saiyan...you can turn 3 gurruk in magical Christmas land for these next 3 months of standard.
1. Elf forest/shock
2. Korosan tusker forest/shock/pain (? I haven't looked if there's a g/b yet)
3. Bte bte nyxkthos.
Tap elf and forest for mana drop the btes activate nyxthos. 7 mana is floating use 6 and a black from the shock/pain and you're good to go.
Not sure of your calcul. Isen't Nykthos taping for 3 devotion to green (1 Elvish Mystic and 1 Kalonian Tusker?)?
That would result into 4 mana only... no?
Just go follow.
4 Elvish Mystic
1 Forest
1 Shockland
1 Nykthos
= 4 Green Mana (Nykthos)
+ 3 Green Mana (Elvish Mystic)
+ 1 Black mana (Shockland)
I would have preferred him being weaker and only costing 3-5 mana so that he could be played in Modern. As he is he is just worse than Karn Liberated.
Edit: Also, the token is a beast and has Deathtouch.
I can't help but feel "Destroy target planeswalker." is trinket text. Though a curse version of Beastmaster Ascension is cute, I can't help but think this card will be unplayable outside of multiplayer EDH. (And even then...)

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I hope this thing works, cause if it does, it's bonkers. Love it.

7 mana is quite prohibitive, but he certainly has the power you need from one. The first +1 is not going to be used often, but when it is used it's a pretty big play. Coming in after an Elspeth and removing her is pretty awesome. The other +1 is a strong token, able to function as an effective attacker, trade for big dudes, or kill other tokens. The -3 kill ability is excellent, letting him save you as he enters the battlefield (much like Elspeths mini-wipe), and being cheap enough to use again relatively quickly. The ult is, as most ults are, overkill that only happens occasionally, though it is interesting in multiplayer as it is a "free kill on that guy" as opposed to "I'm the biggest threat, can I win a me vs all?"
I have both. They don't stop the top of the deck. I'm just pointing out some of the pros and cons. Don't get me wrong, I like this card, but it is slow. It is weaker than elspeth, and costs more mana. In the right meta this card is great. I don't think this is a four of in any deck, however. I'm just surprised that scg sold out so quickly. I see this as being a one of, or maybe a two of, in most decks that want him.

Burning tree emissary is 2 green or 2 red devotion. 1 from elf 2 from kolanian tusker 2 from each burning tree emissary. So 1g and 1r floating from the emissary. Activates nykthos for 7 green mana. 1 black from the shock for 8 mana in total. Again magical Christmas land and a hand dump no less but can be done
