Depending on how Tarkir block and the rest of M15 shape up, she could be a very valuable walker for standard. For sure she's going to see play while Shocks are still in. Even if she doesn't find a T1 home in standard, I expect we'll see some very strong ramp decks utilizing her in Modern.
I would be excited for this planeswalker even if her 'untap 4 forests' ability was her only ability.
Looking forward to putting her in RG Monsters.
Nissa Turn 4, Turn 5 Garruk, activate his +1, untap lands from Nissa +1 and cast your dug creature.
RG Monsters could become RG Planeswalkers for the next three months.
So you didn't read my post in it's whole. I said in a Jund deck that the land-elemental would likely be out of reach for Boardwipe because Jund have acces to Duress, Toughtseise and Liliana Vess. If the opponent dosen't have acces to his boardwiping spell, your creature/land are safe.
I agree with you about Chandra 0 ability already being a card avantage. What I am telling is if you are top decking a land with Chandra, at least that land will be more usfull. The fact that it produce board present that need to be answered with a potential removal card reflect how much it deepen the card advantage Chandra + Nissa together produce. If you don't realise that, I can't force you to understand it. By the why, what would you do with Chandra alone on the Battlefield if you top deck 7 land back to back? At least Nissa can produc board/card advantage when mana flooding.
And I also like your definition of card advantage. "usually by drawing more cards through in-game effects" I like to produce card advantage by forcing my opponent to trade 2 for 1. Nissa can do that kind of thing. She get destroyed, I still have my (4/4) lands on the field. He destroy my land, I still have my Nissa on the field. You could say it isen't a 2/1 trade cardwise. Can't agree more. But land kind of feel useless once you are at 5+ on the field and you are top decking, give them an other utility and it become a huge advantage.
Yes her ult could end the game, even without Hammer of Purphoros. But it's not the "Ho wow I end the game now because you are mana tapped" it,s the "can you answer to her ult next turn cause your facing an army of 4/4" Not that it will likely happen often. In my deck I will probably run 4 to 6 basic land (depending of what land appear in tarkir) Jund without Shockland will need Mana Confluence and some scryland.

I did read it. How do you think I got to the last parts? As for discard, yes that is a possible way of circumventing board wipes. This is nothing new. 'Targeting' discard will be able to solve opposing answers. If you're playing with discard great! Be sure not to waste your discard before you actually know what you need to answer. And non-targeting discard like Liliana Vess and Mind Rot won't solve squat unless your opponent's hand is already almost empty (something any self-respecting control player avoids). I didn't mention Duress, because as far as I currently know it's not getting reprinted in this core set. Who knows?

I agree. Chandra helps you get through mana clumps. However if I have a land already in play that isn't a creature yet, then I would rather turn that into a 4/4 that doesn't have summoning sickness so that I can continue to pressure my opponent's life total 'this' turn not 'next' turn.

Well... not quite. Your opponent may have the advantage here. Since each of the 4/4's is a 'land card' and your planeswalker is also a card, if your opponent has a downfall and a board wipe, they just 2+ for 2'd you.

That's cool! And totally up to you! However, unless Wizards spoils more come into play (at least potentially) untapped lands, I'll be sticking to 2 colors for the next foreseeable year.
I absolutely hate her face in this art. It looks awful. Her nose looks weird and bulbous, her hair looks awful and there's just something weird about it in general. It definitely doesn't look like her from the card for Nissa Revane. But other than her face I like the art and the effects.

I disagree. I don't think there is anything weird with the nose. You can't really tell for certain that it's not the same in Nissa Revane. And if you couldn't tell from here clothes behavior, her hair is simply blowing really hard in the wind (whether it be from the actual wind or from her flying through the air like that).
You may have also noticed a slight wardrobe malfunction where her clothes have been torn around the waist area. Other than that, no difference.
It's a pretty nice card. The turn after you cast it, if it survives it essentially makes it so that you have 10 mana to work with during your main phase
Trying to think of any broken things u can do with it
I guess you can also use the untap to cast a creature to get in front of her.
3 loyalty seems a bit low but the ultimate does seem strong. If you untap with a full board of trample man lands you gotta say you win every time.
Wait, another dies to everything?
Oh my, what a waste... *sarcasm noted*
I like her, mainly for EDH. For standard? Nah, I'm more afraid of lands being killed by Elspeth, Verdict, and Downfall. Extremely vulnerable. For EDH? Prismatic Omen all the way babe!
So I am a mono green player pretty much exclusively and I love Nissa because of the the fact that she does what a good planeswalker is supposed to do. Come down with high loyalty and both of her plus 1's protect her. I know in the deck I would not be using her first plus 1 much because I am greedy and I know I would just untap a Nykthos shrine, and try to make a butt ton of mana, and then it will be blown up. But her second plus 1 is what I want to abuse the most. Untap 4 freaking lands drop a Polukranos the same turn you drop Nissa, and not lower Nissa's Loyalty is the nutter butters. I get to freaking untap 4 freaking lands a turn. My mind is blown. I can drop a Hero's bane turn 4, Nissa on turn 5 and still have the mana to pump up Hero's Bane or drop and arbor colossus, or a Terra Stomper. Ridiculous

A GW super friends deck sounds much better then just jamming her into Monsters. You would have access to Monster's ramp cards, some of the white removal spells like Banishing Light, and a host of powerful walkers that could potentially work very well in unison:
As someone already mentioned, you could also play Nylea's Presence to be able to untap other lands with Nissa, so in that regard she could be used as a mana fixer as well. All this while not taking into consideration some of the really sweet cards like Restock that are confirmed reprints says to me that the deck really has potential.

In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out.
Many thanks to HotP Studios. Special thanks to DNC for this great sig.

Bant Superfriends is better because of kiora as well as new jace when the time he gets revealed. GW superfriends isn't as strong post rotation vs. 3 color superfriends. Might try out nylea's presence for cantrips.

I highly disagree at this point. As of yet, we still have not had any come-into-play-untapped dual lands and I feel that without it a 3-color deck isn't viable after rotation. Plus you're not going to get a lot of mileage out of the 2nd + ability of Nissa in a 3-color deck. Right now a lot of people seem to be in the Ravnica mindset about 3-colors post rotation. But as far as I'm concerned, without any CIPU lands the mana base will kill you way too often.
Ajani Steadfast essentially requires you to have other creatures/planeswalkers already in play to be any good at all (particularly creatures). However, I wouldn't run a planeswalker suite like that without any kind of control suite as well. So I don't like him in a super friends deck at the present.
I do however like the idea of Monogreen Devotion splashing Red with:
Superfriends will have to deal with downfall as well as banishing light, so every deck will have cards that can directly remove walkers. There are enough good ones that the deck looks viable, but I think it would be better off as a midrange deck with creatures as well or a control deck with fewer walkers and more draw/counter/removal (which probably wouldn't run Nissa). A midrange deck looks like the best option, with courser/caryatid providing excellent anti-aggro and a combination of efficient creatures and walkers to fight control. Remember that we are still getting a new Jace as well as a new Garruk(who is either BG or straight black). BUG walkers is looking like it may be a better option, trading Ajani and Elspeth for Liliana (since Vess is actually playable, unlike Dark Realms), end Garruk. Pre-rotation BUG offers better removal and threats like Demon and Pack Rat, while Bant has Verdict, Revelation, and D-sphere. Post rotation BUG keeps removal and Seize, while Bant loses most of its power when it's Azorius cards rotate
That would be quite doable and fun, provided we get cultivate or rampant growth. However we also have Market Festival, which while not as good as Cultivate, you could easily slap it on a forest for 3 mana, 1 green 2 any color. And then there's the other enchantment that does almost the same thing. So Nissa's untap ability becomes more powerful here, and the deck is at least interesting enough. Might drop to 24 lands for a pair of Polukranos.
I'd actually rather run a couple copies of Genesis Hydra over Soul of Theros. Since the deck is relatively rampy, it gives you the chance to drop a relatively large creature AND a planeswalker on the same turn, although the stabilization from Soul of Theros might be worth more, in the end. Also, I doubt we'll get 2 ramp spells in the core set, plus the deck could use a little extra control, so I'd probably run Banishing Light or Devouring Light as a 4 of for a few responses to the opponent's field.

All true, I like Hydra, but I'm not sure. A midrange in heavy aggro needs lifegain as much as possible to stabilize. I'm sure to use Banishing Light, at least in the sideboard if nowhere else.

Maybe, but a 6cc creature with a 5cc life gain effect isn't going to help you against aggro any better. You'd be better off with Archangel of Thune or Fiendslayer Paladin.

Caryatid, Ram, and Courser deals with early threats quite well. I'm dreaming with Cultivate and Rampant Growth by the way (If they are both in there is no way I'm not playing this deck). And Nissa enables Soul and Polukranos especially if you have Market Festival on a forest or two. There's your threat answers. I know there's kinks, but I'm already cooking up how I would play the deck. Just as I play a good Selesnya aggro deck people here like to ridicule because it's not the way the "pros" play it. Sorry, but these "pro" players don't know everything, and there's people like me with an innovative mind to build the decks before they become popular.
