Sacrifice a land: Draw two cards.
Activate this ability only once each
turn.

Red get's card draw for EACH turn, not just your own. Interesting design. This feels like a perfect card for a combo and for synergies. What would work well side-by-side with the Mining?
I am sure land searching (not playing) can get around the "can't play lands" clause.
So this is the Minecraft card? I like it. The once-per-turn clause probably keeps it from enabling degenerate combos, unfortunately, but this is still pretty cool.
This card seems REALLY good. Makes for a good top end for burn or sligh. Giving you extra fuel to make sure you can close the game is really good in those decks. This may also be good if played with another color with a way to sac it.
Just let it be activated multiple times per turn. You would still have to jump through another hoop of being able to play extra lands. Gahhhhh....
You really don't need to play extra lands. This card would see vintage/legacy play without the once per turn clause. Drawing 6-12 cards off this in 1 turn is pretty insane for 4 mana; and you could even wait a turn to untap.
This seems pretty powerful. Cards that let you trade other resources for cards (Necropotence, Skullclamp) are often busted, so I would not be at all surprised if someone did something broken with this card. I'm just not sure what. Maybe something with Manabond?
The problem is that its a four drop. Even in modern Goblins you stil want at least 3 mana. That means you spent 4 mana to draw 2 cards. Barring using green or artifacts for ways to put lands directly onto the battlefield you have no way of replenishing your draw. I don't see this seeing play outside of EDH.

You can't play land cards, including fetch lands. You can definitely land search with the fetch lands you have in play already before you play this card.
It would have been good without the "once a turn" clause. With that clause in it prevents combo decks and doesn't generate meaningful advantage. 4cc + sac a land for 2 cards reads to me like "Discard this card, tap all of your mana on t4, sac a land, draw 2 cards". It might be good if you curve out at 2 or are playing in a really long mana-flooded game, but either situation is sub-optimal.
It would be a fun card to donate to an opponent and then blowup all their lands, but it's kind of a weird card red it's self can't get rid of it. Also Bazaar trader can't give it to an opponent.
I was looking at this, perhaps in a deck that used things like Seismic Assault and Life from the Loam, the problem was trying to find mana to keep playing Loam, so a quick gatherer search and I found a couple cards that might work, not sure if it will work but I think the idea has merit to at least think about.
For what it's worth, the opposite of evergreen is "deciduous" so I suggest we start using that from now on to refer to shroud, banding, islandhome, etc.

Other than that, I wouldn't play this card without a way to sacrifice it. Like Perlious Research.
Also, this is the Minecraft card. Pretty cool.

Dega midrange 1-0
With that change this card would be banned in Standard, Modern, and potentially Legacy as well. It's easy to make any card more powerful.

Burnished Hart (Trading Post deck? May be more clunky than the Hammer Post combo)

My Peasant Cube (looking for feedback)
Creatures that do it:
Budoka Gardener
Sakura-Tribe Scout

Cheap Spells that do it:
Recross the Paths

At least these are the modern legal one.

Burn deck drops this, sack a land draw 2 play a land go.
They either get more land to sack or they get the burn spells to finish you right there and then.
It might be that you have to answer it with enchantment hate or risk losing.
You can sack TAPPED LANDS!
You can't play lands with this on the battlefield.
Also, now that I've seen it a bit, I'm really starting to like the new frames. I was indifferent at first, but these definitely feel more flavorful.
This seems so broken and against modern card design, that I just have to love it. I can't not.
