MTG Salvation

Now that the full set has been spoiled, what is everyone's favorite common? I almost exclusively play limited so I'm very excited about the set (though I know there are gripes about constructed playability).

I'm personally very biased towards black and blue so I'd say some of my favorites at the moment are:

Bloodcrazed Hoplite: Gives you a chance to get a leg up in a heroic race. Plus I love the art and it's ability is so classic black.

Feast of Dreams: Instant speed and versatile removal. Counter heroic/bestow pretty well and can take care of a tricky Ordeal card or some other enchantment that's getting out of hand.

Hubris: Talk about versatility. You can protect your beefed up creature from removal (and loss of card advantage), or could use it late game to slow an opponent's momentum/get rid of a tricky blocker. I really like this card.

In no particular order:

Triton Shorestalker-I've always loved unblockable guys, and it's perfect for my ninja deck

Grim Guardian-love the art, and the ability is decent too

Sigiled Skink-gotta love those little lizards. Plus, I actaully really like it's abiliies too. Scry 1 for each attack isn't bad.

I'm with you on sigiled skink. Red really got a power up in draft this set, and I'm excited.

Beyond that Triton Shorestalker will see play in every format. Good 1 drop is good.

Oppressive Rays looks like a lot of fun

Countermand just because I like counter spells that do other fun things

Sigiled Starfish for the scry ability

Cruel Feeding because wide-scale lifelink is nice to have

Market Festival from a ramp perspective

Market Festival will be a great card to draw if you want to run 3 colors at the prerelease

Kruphix's Insight for me, really good for enchantment-based decks and for graveyard strategies.
