Some quotes for CR to make you all sure that Bracers actually work:
706.10. To copy a spell, activated ability, or triggered ability means to put a copy of it onto the stack; a copy of a spell isnt cast and a copy of an activated ability isnt activated. A copy of a spell or ability copies both the characteristics of the spell or ability and all decisions made for it, including modes, targets, the value of X, and additional or alternative costs. (See rule 601, "Casting Spells.") Choices that are normally made on resolution are not copied. If an effect of the copy refers to objects used to pay its costs, it uses the objects used to pay the costs of the original spell or ability. A copy of a spell is owned by the player under whose control it was put on the stack. A copy of a spell or ability is controlled by the player under whose control it was put on the stack. A copy of a spell is itself a spell, even though it has no spell card associated with it. A copy of an ability is itself an ability. #
Example: Fling is an instant that reads, "As an additional cost to cast Fling, sacrifice a creature" and "Fling deals damage equal to the sacrificed creatures power to target creature or player." When determining how much damage a copy of Fling deals, it checks the power of the creature sacrificed to pay for the original Fling.
put him as a one of with vorel as a one of in a bant fog/friends list with Ajani (to find them), Jace, elspeth, kiora, and control.
it might happen in 1 out of 10 games, but you'll rarely need it in that shell. it's mostly for a fun "gotcha" situation. ajani, vorel, sage goes infinite, but you don't want to waste too many resources on a combo that's so fragile.
All of the rules allow for your general to be moved to the command zone when he gets put into a place that would be tough to get him back from, GY, Exile, etc. I am sure one day the rules will change and include tuck effects.
I didn't see bioshift above, so I wanted to add it in here since you can eat hydras with it(that are 4 and the heroic of sage = 5). Gyre sage + heroes' bane + bioshift seems stupid powerful possibly.
Bump Heroes' to 16/16+
Bioshift 9+ to Gyre(should have evolved once)
Tap and rebump heroes' to 28/28 (your gyre will be 10/11). Shift these new ones onto Sage and you win.
Oreskos Sun-Guide + Ephara's Radiance + Sage of Hours + Sunbond
X
You can have a five-life, five-counter, infinite turns combo by turn 4. I think I know my new standard deck!
Unless I'm working this wrong, you need to wait until turn 5 to get going with that. It's set up on turn 4, but you can't use it, and you either need a spell to give you a boost, or to attack with Oreskos Sun Guide on turn 4 to get it going on turn 5. Your combo is about as good as it gets, and there are a few Sunbond combinations that get working around then. Sage + Sunbond + Stuff.
I noticed that. It's fixed to launch on turn 5 by playing a Soulmender on turn 1 (heroic +1/+1 from Sunbond, another from Mender, and 3 from Sun Guide).
Edit: alternatively, just playing an Ordeal of Heliod and tapping Sun Guide for life can launch the combo.
There's also a more stable reliable way to do this with the Sage as well. Archangel Combo. Archangel+Courser of Kruphix. This also gives you a win con, draw fixing, and the deck can play out exactly like Bant dudes would play out, play some Ephara, maybe some Kruphix, Thassa, Nylea Sideboard maybe, both Ajani's.
Realistically he should only be unblockable without equipment
Guard 1: There goes a sword floating down the street!
Guard 2: Well, he's unblockable, so ignore it.
Eat your greens kids, omnath does, and it makes him strong....

Nice three card kill in standard:
Kiora's Follower, Illusionist's Bracers, and Zhur-Taa Druid]
Thank you!!!
can't .... " untap another target permanent "..... needs another one or you can simply be lightning strike every turn with druid.

or the mega ultra fantasy land combo
Bioshift + Gyre Sage + Heroes' Bane + Prime Speaker Zegana + Triton Tactics +

You're right, I guess I was only paying attention to the token.
That said:
Ajani, Mentor of Heroes + Sage of Hours + Ephara's Enlightenment + Riptide Chimera
He exiles an instant not a sorcery. Won't work.
RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.
