Upon first seeing it, it's actually pretty hype, the no block clause being standard fare and fine. Although it was really the bestow that got to me...
Four mana, for a +2/+1 buff, with the added ability of not blocking. Something felt pretty wrong. And then comes the easy realization that the bestow ultimately is going to become a method for your aggro Minotaurs to not get blocked and die, assuming that your damage output won't be overtaken by the +2 power you're giving your foe, unless it's Wall of Frost or anything of the sort.
So in the end, is this decent early startup also going to be the buffer for r/b minotaurs? Who knows.
Thoughts on this one armed bull-man?

It seems very playable. It isn't like you were going to block with it anyways.
Bestow is kind of an afterthought on this card. In Constructed, it's a 2/1 for 1 that can't block most of the time. The card is just a little better as a topdeck later in the game, because it can make your opponent's creature unable to block or allow your creature to be a little bit bigger.
This seems awesome! A great first turn play that still has some power in the later turns. And when you just need to get past one big blocker late in the game, it can even act as a finisher!
With the two Minotaur lords, Rageblood Shaman and Kragma Warcaller, it becomes a 5/2 Trample & haste one-armed bull. Not to mention that if you drop this guy later, it becomes free with Ragemonger.

This is one of the most interesting bestow creatures I have ever seen, extremely aggressively costed as a 1 mana creature and has the potential to either end up bestowed on your own creatures or your opponents depending on the game state.
I'm glad we are seeing some bestow creatures that have drawbacks finally!
This is a very nice creature, and has potential in any black aggro deck. The minotaur tribal bonus currently doesn't seem like that much, but by the time this set is over that could be different.
Replaces Rakdos Cackler immediately in Mono Black Aggro, gives reach and a way to slip through troublesome blockers.
Replaces?
Mono Black aggro now has the ability to play 12 2 power 1 drops, not to mention that when Cackler rotates they'll still have 8. This card is important for providing black a potential critical mass of 1 drops if nothing else.

I like the design choice. You will never bestow this on anything, because you want your big guy to be able to block as well as attack. HOWEVER, this guy is amazing as a 2/1 for one (even if it cant block) because you would never block with a 2/1 anyways.
crappy card ... this sets sucks ... all theros-bng-nyx is crappy bestow

JIN already has more potential than the past two sets. Constellation mechanic alone finally frees us from mechanics focused around turning dudes sideways (maybe).
This Minotaur is welcome, as every aggressive tribe needs a good 1 drop and now they got it. Minotaur lords are actually pretty insane. I made a casual deck that I'm tuning for Legacy using the two new lords, Digeridoo, and some other goodies for the minotaur tribe. It's not there yet. This card helps, but honestly what was missing was not the low end, but some kind of overwhelming 6-drop minotaur that wins the game on the high end. Doo and the lord that reduces costs make this castable. If Minotaurs want to be a thing, they need something like:
Big ol' Minotaur 4GB - 5/5
Pro white, Trample, B: Regenerates
That's the kind of thing we're waiting for. Something that sneaks past countermagic off a Doo and cannot be killed by STP or Supreme Verdict.

I highly doubt that for block/standard/limited. Do we have any enchantments in the whole block that don't involve creatures? Infact, nearly every one is an enchantment creature and/or an aura with enchant creature.
I'm highly amused at the complete 180 on 2 power 1 drops in the last 6 years, though. When Tattermunge Maniac was spoiled, it was going to break standard. Now, we have more playable ones in standard than had ever existed before that and few people remotely care. We actually have so many black ones now that you could theoretically build a legacy deck of Dark Ritual and good 2 power 1 drops. That wouldn't actually win the game before turn 4 even with a god hand, though, and would fold to hate like a sheet of paper in a tornado.
This guy could definitely push one of the Mono-Black aggro decks we've seen a bit of in Standard already. 1 drops that actually have some lategame utility are always in demand for aggro decks and this guy actually has a fair amount with the obvious buffing of your own creatures but also the backdoor "Maniacal Rage" component of it on your opponent's creautres.
My friends and I were discusing about the possibility of a 1 minotaur drop for my Minotaur Standard deck.
I tought it was really hard to come to a card like it since most of minotaurs cost at least 3 or 4. In Theros there started to appear lighter ones with two drops but I know this poor guy will see a lot of action in standard.
Really like this minotaur. The minotaur deck in standard to date was too slow without a 1 drop. The only inconvience is that Mana base for Minotaurs leans heavily red before the one drop. You could play Shocks, Temples, Guildgates, Mountains and zero swamps. Now you need more than shocks to play him first turn reliably.
Makes Black Aggro decks better, but I'm not buying into the Minotaur tribal thing since tribals don't work in Standard without some absurdly strong synergy (tribal lords and reduced mana costs aren't enough).

Im surprised people think Minotaurs before anything since its not like Mono B Aggro isnt already a thing....
The reason why people think Minotaurs is because so many people want Minotaur tribal to happen.
