The flavor is amazing. I kind of wish there was a terribly awesome Cyclops that was broken and super good, just so people would fearfully play this card.

I have a friend who runs/has run a nivix blitz style deck, to run this against him after he used all his instants and sorcery's to buff it.
I laughed when I saw this card, loved the flavor, then I realized it
killed Mutavault, and I began to see potential. It won't see Constructed play due to Bile Blight, but maybe....
There better at least be one cyclops this set. Pretty cool flavor, but not constructed playable (unless a friend has a Borborgmos EDH and you just want to troll him...)
This is some great art with epic scale despite the zoomed-in frame. Oddly it's sideways.
As for gameplay this is one of the most narrow effects I have ever seen. This will probably be pretty damn good in block and draft once all three expansions are out though.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
You know what would be awesome, if one of the minor gods in the next set was a cyclops, and the next game day event deck is a cyclopes deck. I don't know which god would be a Cyclopes though... maybe we'll just get a cool legendary creature like the big hydra in theros
This card is a flavour home run, and it's a decent card for Limited. And killing Mutavault is awesome, but somehow I doubt Black mages are going to reach for this to deal with it.
Also, sad it will not smash a jar of eyeballs, hag's eye, urza's glasses, or urza's sun glasses. Use on tar pit warrior is totally winmoar.
Of course, it is a gouge, not a smash. Still, smashing a jar of eyeballs will leave you with a jar with one fewer eyeball. On the other hand, smashing a Hag's Eye might render it useless if its properties are contingent on its state.
Flavourwise, Eye Gouge shouldn't even affect glasses, though.
Using anything on Tar Pit Warrior is useless. The spell 'fizzles'. No satisfaction.

I am loving this card, especially the flavor, and the fact that it takes out mutavault
That is kind of a flavor FAIL right there.
Eyes is probably one thing a changeling does not have only one of, and if anyone can replace ONE eye -- it'd be a changeling.

Only the name is less awesome. Also, Eye Gouge doesn't infinite combo with Xenograft/Conspiracy and Splinter Twin/Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker.

Still, it's cute.
Nor Homunculi, which, like cyclopes, have one eye.
Good integration of flavour and a reasonable card.

First I've seen that card. It's so sad.
Is there some kind of theme with sympathetic cyclopses?

Also, we need more Cyclops cards now.:)

Something that kills Polis Crusher ain't bad for limited, card is near unbeatable if you can't kill it.
