Yeah, I repeated the joke... but who can resist?!?!?!
This has got to be one of the most ludicrous card text I have ever read. More flavor than Fruit Stripes gum. What do y'all think of the pimp? (don't want to get a baby powder face slap from this pimp 99 times...)
This card has to be one of the best troll jokes ever, because anyone who reads the card knows they are being trolled, but it is so flavorful, you don't even care. It's like something you would expect to see in a Un-set, but it is practical enough to be an actual card. Great job wizards.
There's making a card flavorful and then there is smacking you in the face with a fruit flavored hammer and screaming "DO YOU TASTE THE FLAVOR YET" over and over.
This is the latter and it is almost embarrassing IMO.
Can someone please direct me towards Meditaranian mythology that this references? I know theres Hinduism stuff going on, but I don't know if they're willing to reach that far east for top down designs.

The best part is the fact that it's actually constructed worthy. It will certainly be tested in any white deck for standard and modern. I could actually see this thing being a curve topper to some kind of midrange deck. An absolute house vs. aggro!
This guy is great in Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant EDH. There really aren't enough creatures that can block more than one creature, so this guy works really well.
We're getting trolled pretty hard here, even more than the deal 13 damage. The ability is actually worse than Palace Guard but reads 1000% better.
I think this opinion might not see the forest through the trees. As others have pointed out, just look at its stats w/out the blocking ability and the monstrosity w/that CMC. Then you have all that other stuff on top of it, plus a huge flavor win.

Slap a darksteel plate on that fellow and lean back.
i just realised that this guy could be a 1 man "i block everything army" if you enchant him with this new enchantment which lets him come back every turn, or with an indestructible enchant or someting..
but still not good enough i think
It would have been fun to see this in standard with Time Sieve. It could have blocked all those 5/5 eggs.
Splinter Twin players in modern do a double take when reading this card, before realizing they just need to be sure they order up an extra couple of hundred clone triggers.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

Lol, fun imagery at least. I thought the 13's in Innistrad were slightly more pushed than this, but hey. Different strokes and folks, etc.
So flavorful its enjoyable. Seriously man. It can block 100 creatures, land or air it don't care. Just need to make it indestructible.

Scumbag wizards, printing creatures with evasion!
(Btw, there are currently 59 spells/creatures in standard that have the text "can't be blocked" on them, FYI)
