Don't know about uncommons but I did have two boxes out of my case have all three planeswalkers. Though that was kind of odd but awesome at the same time.
Can't say I had the same with the uncommons, but with my GTC case I got 5 Aurelia, 5+1(foil) Zegana, 4 Deathpact Angel, and 4 Aurelia's Fury, and 3 Domri Rade (plus 0 Obzedat, among others) as well as a hugely excessive amount of Primordials and Godless Shrines, even two foil Rubblebelt Raiders and Molten Primordials.
I opened a box with no rares or mythics... well there was a foil Colossus of whatever... the 8/8 for 10 guy. Yeah... something weird with the boxes. 14 cards in each pack. Go me.

No rares/mythics? That's a strange one... After opening a couple packs with no rares I would have probably taken the box back I guess.
Opened them like I always do, separate into color then alphabetize, then pull out the rares as I am checking in my playsets of commons and uncommons on my sheet. Didn't realize til checking them in. Guess I need a new way to open.
Boxes having similar rares to each other is due to WotC making them less random in order to avoid duplicate rares within a box.
Statistically, in a 53 rare 15 mythic set, you should expect about 9-10 duplicate rares within a box. WotC make the boxes non-random to reduce this number - as a consequence you get boxes that are partially predictable.
The same is true of commons within a pack - WotC go out of their way to have print runs, almost eliminating the duplicate commons you used to get in almost every Revised booster.
between the 5 boxes there were 5 thoughtseize, 3 Ashiok, 3 Cerberus, 4 Steam Augury, 4 Fabled Heroes, 2 Worldeaters, 5 Mistcutter Hydra, 6 Nykthos, 3 Purphoros, 2 Nylea, 4 bow, 3 Sylvan Caryatid, 3 Ashen Riders and 3-5 packs from each box had 8-9 uncommons and 3-4 commons.
3 Of those boxes were from the same case and one was from a Freshly opened case.
Has anyone else encountered this kind of issue where the boxes are almost the same rares and also getting the wrong distribution of uncommons?
Trade thread - not up to date

I will never forget opening up a revised booster back in the day and finding 15 Spell Blast.
