Overall, I've got to agree that Purphorous is the best god of them all, followed by Thassa and then Erebos. I think Purfy and Thassa will both slide into some standard decks pretty seamlessly.
Red is winning? very surprising to me. 4 mana is high on the curve....you're going to hold your creatures until then? if it dealt damage to a creature maybe, but a 2 damage sizzle isn't very good.
Kidding aside, Purphoros is the best, with Thassa as a close second and Erebos as a distant third (not counting Commander.) Nylea is a VERY distant fourth after that, and Heliod is arguably close, but I would put him as an easy fifth.
For what it's worth, the opposite of evergreen is "deciduous" so I suggest we start using that from now on to refer to shroud, banding, islandhome, etc.

Who needs to hold them? Young Pyromancer is already out there doing his thing.
I would say Erebros. This god doesn't rely on the rest of your deck like Thassa.
Shuts down lifegain.
Only costs 3B to cast.
Cheap draw ability of 1B + 2 Life.
Is also the only god with the largest amount of P/T as he comes in as a 5/7, most peak 6/* or */6.
these cards are complex and have no real precedent in the rest of Magic. we won't be able to really say which one is "best" just by looking at them. I expect one of them will end up being much more heavily played than the others due to the role of supporting cards. Some colors are better at getting to 5 devotion than others.

there toughness means next to nothing after 4, his no life ability will also mean next to nothing. His draw ability is awesome but not enough to make him better then Thassa or Purphoros. The 2 life for a card will matter when playing a red deck that can drop your life total very quickly.
I went with Thassa. Toughness really isn't an issue with indestructible- and most lack evasion. Thassa is card quality and beats in reliably and hard. Others might have possibly faster clocks, but the rest aren't as surefire.

It will be very hard for blue to activate the creature in Thassa even with walkers and such but I do agree that she does have a very high sense of inevitability. I just think Purphoros does the same thing just a little faster.
Thassa.
3cmc is super low.
Blue has an E-Z time hitting 5 devotion. (Maybe? Sorry, I'm theorycrafting here as i mainly play commander, so IDK if this holds true in the standard meta or not)
Free scry every turn is awesome.
Unblockable beaters is awesome.
Heck, she beats for 5 unblockable pretty quickly.
No other god does as much for you alone as she does, she's simply phenomenal support.
After her, the red one is insane.
My problem with him though is
A) 4 mana - in red you most likely want to drop most of your creatures before T4, thus somewhat neutering his ability's effectiveness.
B) Devotion - Red will probably have the hardest time of all the colors getting to 5 devotion. (I may be full of it here, see earlier note about me mostly doing edh. I just base my assumption on red having a lot of small, weak creatures which its willing to let die to deal more damage, so the stability of keeping devotion up would not be there)
These two factors I think will make thassa more powerful than him overall. The thing is, the red dude is certainly a killer, but he's a killer you need to build around to maximize his potential.
Thassa can go into pretty much any blue deck and be amazing.
And built around she'll be just as harmful as the big red giant, if not moreso due to coming out a turn sooner and being unblockable.
Black god is 3rd, he's good, just not as good as these two.
The white one could be really good - mostly depends on enchant support since those tokens could be amazing with the right support.
Green is worst imo the activated ability is simply really, really, REALLY bad and most green creatures with big attack have trample already.

Seriously, she's the one god I can see ending up as a 15+ dollar card.

LOL at red having the hardest time getting 5 devotion, I think you should consider...Ash Zealot, Boros Reckoner, Chandra's Phoenix, The new Dragon, BTE and the list goes on. Red will with out a doubt make it to 5 devotion much easier then any other color.
Of course everything in the end depends on what format we evaluate them in and the meta, even then its a bit unsure as they're not out yet
My evaluation is (based on the cards as standalone):
1. Blue: Great CMC and all around goodness
2. Red: Awesome card for RDW, Im gonna be using him
3. Black: Great body, though his abilities are meh (particularly the one concerning lifegain, in EDH his draw is much appreciated)
4. White: Solid card, but nothing too special
5. Green: Blegh

I was torn between Purphoros and Thassa, so my all-time favorite color acted as my tie-breaker, and I love red quite a bit.
The big P's got tons of damage to dish out, and Indestructible in red's more relevant than with most other colors since red usually can't defend itself from removal.
Thassa's definitely worthy of second with her lower mana cost and ability to control card quality. Her activated ability to make your guys unblockable is really rather fantastic.
I'd put Erebos third, Nylea fourth and Heliod at fifth.
For standard,
1. Thassa : It's the most efficient god and I don't think U will have much of a problem getting 5 devotion in theros standard (multiple UU creatures at 2 and 3 mana). It also provides card quality advantage. It can also be run in the same deck as master of waves. The two together will be quite powerful
2. purphoros : for all the reasons already mentioned in this thread. It's a pain to deal with, easily hits devotion, rapidly kills your opponent with any reliable token makers. Hard to complain about purphorus
3. helliod : because boros reckoner and purphoros are things, it should be fairly easy for a boros deck to hit devotion to both red or (and) white by turn 4 (6). There is also impressive synergy between the two.
4. nylea : because BTE and rubblebelt raiders and purphoros are things. If gruul agro sticks around, I'd expect both gods to be run.
5. Erebos : least efficient (in terms of Power/cmc). Static ability is probably irrelevant in most games. Isn't in a color which easily hits devotion(though there may be new BBB and BB cards printed). Its redeeming quality is its activated ability 1B shock: draw 1 card is quite good.
Those are my rankings anyway. Erebos would be better than nylea if Black had any good BB two drops and more than 2 decent XBB 3 drops. With standard as is, erebos will never be a creature so all you'd be getting is a slightly cheaper greed with a significantly more expensive activated ability. Also, I'm having a hard time imagining what kind of deck would want erebos anyway.
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

I also voted for Thassa for the same reason, though I do think Erebos is awesome.

Green is really bad.
